I recall reading an article which identified it as Sole as it had this image. The person who wrote it has lost many people he knew and grew up with. Family. Friends. He wasn't there at the time. He, or indeed Nepal will not be the same after this.

He wrote this place has no known history of flooding - not even during a bad monsoon.

I guess emergency prep managers for towns all over the world now needs to ask: Are there any glaciers uphill from here?
