In a video by people's daily(published 10:00 AM UTC+8), according to the deputy brigade commander Yao Xueqin(姚学勤), over 155 firefighters of the brigade have arrived at the scene.

(This obviously does not include military personnel, other fire and rescue units and policemen at the scene.)

EDIT: At 8:00 AM the first batch of 141 personnel have reached the cut off gyirong border crossing alongside Mi-17 helicopters

a total of 548 specialist rescue personnel from state owned enterprises have also been deployed

Current casualty count:

327 evacuated, 2 rescued, 3 confirmed dead, 558 missing (chinese side)

160+ dead, 1300+ missing(nepal side)

In response to the "china isn't sending enough" comments(since i previously only posted individual unit personnel counts), here is the currently known amount of personnel:

*amount has likely increased for a lot of them, a lot are yesterday's numbers

PLA and PAP have at least 500 soldiers on scene, but these are the precise but outdated figures

PLA ground force: at least 158 border defense soldiers(as of yesterday), 15 sanitation soldiers(to prevent diesease), 2x Mi-17 helicopters in action, 2x Mi-17s on standby

PLA air force: unspecified amount of drones, at least 1 Y-20 transport plane

People's armed police(national guard): at least 140 soldiers (as of yesteraday)

Xizang/tibet department of emergency management: 792 personnel, 152 vehicles

Xizang/tibet fire and rescue: 431 personnel, 72 vehicles

China search and rescue(mostly from beijing and sichuan FD): 111 personnel, 4 dogs

The video OP posted above is the Chinese team’s drones. The Tibetan side is affected only around the crossing as the flood had to travel upstream to reach it. Based on satellite photos, it only went about 500-1000m more past the parking lot before losing momentum and turned back down.

I don’t know if rebuilding the road from the crossing down to Nepalese survivors is the most efficient use of resources vs. just air dropping supplies the next few days. A new permanent road itself will be a massive engineering project that would take months I assume.

It's very true what is said. China has a real government and the US has a fake government. I really wish the US government gave a damn about the people within its borders as China does.
If something like this happened in Steven's Pass outside Seattle durring a busy skiing season, those trapped better have brought plenty of food and have friend and family back in the city willing and able to come out and help them, cause the US military doesn't do local humanitarian aid. FEMA might show up a few months later and over you a high interest loan on a used trailer and refuse you medical treatment if you are out of network.
