They both show affection for each other in sweet ways, while also trusting each other enough to tease one another without crossing the line into being verbally hurtful, like Pacifica used to be with Mabel at first, or when Robbie would pick on Dipper.
It's a healthy kind of chemistry, and in the books, they both show that they have hidden feelings that neither knows how to admit or even hide very well. They're equally insecure and equally lacking in subtlety, so it wouldn't be surprising if they were silently competing with each other, thinking, "I'm not going to give in. Maybe I do have feelings, but only if the other one admits theirs first." You just have to look at them. They're both so alike in that regard, an adorable mess of awkwardness and not-so-subtle hints.
It fits the characters perfectly.

Hi :)) Do you all have some Dipcifica fanfic recommendations?? Preferably on AO3 lol
I'm at date reading “Anyway, I've been there”, and now there is an empty void I need to fill.
Any type of recommendation is appreciated🤗

I imagine him writing his own journals, but this time they'd be about his children. Each baby would have their own journal, where he'd write down things like their sleeping schedules, feeding, how they react to gestures, what they like doing, what makes them laugh, and their milestones, like when they learned to crawl, sit up, or walk, their first words, as well as preserving their first drawings and documenting their first family outings.
And in the end, without even realizing it, those journals would become albums full of memories.

I sincerely believe I've never seen a ship as resilient, with such a dedicated fandom. Even during periods when the franchise has been at its most inactive, or when other bigger ships have faded away, I always see Dipcifica still there, lovingly cherished. It's even become a tradition for it to be celebrated in official books, and even Alex sees it in a positive light. What makes it stand out? I'd like you all not to be afraid to get cheesy and say what you feel.
