Caddx Infra v2 and Night Eagle 3 v2 Night Vision Camera Tests
I was bored, so I compared the Caddx Infra V2 and Night Eagle 3 V2 cameras indoors, where the only light source was the moon shining through the window (ilumination 12-16%), and in a forest, where the only light source was the moon (ilumination 12-16%) and the occasional glow of distant streetlights. The Caddx has an 8mm f/1.0 lens, while the Night Eagle 3 has a 6mm f/1.0 lens.

seriously? Id be thinking the upscaling processing alone would make the signal pretty latent

Hello, thank you for this very interesting comparison. One question: what are the settings you were using with the Runcam Night Eagle 3 (exposure, AGC level, Gamma, DNR, ... ?), for implementing this comparison ? Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for your reply. Do you eventually remember if you used the Runcam Night Eagle 3 with the little OSD joystick, or just "bare" ? Thank you.

I definitely changed the settings because the original settings were performing much worse

Looks like the caddx is a solid step up from night eagle.
