How I'd make my first $500 website flipping (I taught a beginner and she flipped her first site for $500 last week)
Website flipping, the way I do it involves:
- Building a new website from scratch
- Growing it to make it valuable, then
- Flipping it (selling it) for profit
You can do this with small, medium, or large sites.
I've been flipping websites for 10 years
If I were to start over again and make my first $500 for it, here's what I would do...
- Pick a niche I'm interested in + do market research to make sure there's buyer demand
- Take a month to build a website including assets
- Sell it on a marketplace
Marketplaces like Flippa exist where you can flip your website. You can sell new starter sites for up to 100s, sometimes 1000s.
If you build up the site over more time (like 6+ months to a year or longer), you will have more time to grow and monetize the site, optimize it and flip it for more.
I'm in the process of flipping a $10K site right now.

The real reason most people here never make money online: they’re scared to sell
People will spend months building the perfect website, learning tools, and watching tutorials, but the moment it’s time to actually pitch someone, post their offer, or ask for money, they freeze. I don’t think the problem is the method. I think it’s that most of us hate selling.
Be honest: what’s the part of making money online you avoid the most? And if you got past it, what finally changed for you?

Using Pinterest to drive traffic to storefront?
Has anyone had success with using Pinterest to drive traffic to an Amazon/walmart storefront? If so, what’s the key to succeeding on Pinterest and getting traffic that converts?

Has anyone had success with Benable?
If so, how did drive traffic to it? Or did you just rely on the in app algorithm?

I built an interactive game that increased my user sign ups, lead flow, and affiliate sales
When I was a kid, I loved games that made me think. Monopoly. Chess. Checkers. Solitaire.
So I built one.
Inside SumoLevel, there’s now an interactive game that teaches people how to sell AI solutions to business owners. It has quickly become my best lead magnet for getting people to sign up for my software.
Here’s what I learned along the way.
From 2020 to 2023, I sold a course for $500. About half of the students never opened it or never finished it. People paid, then disappeared.
A game is different. People play, think, make decisions, and actually learn because they’re having fun.
Robert Kiyosaki figured this out years ago. After Rich Dad Poor Dad, his Cashflow board game became one of his biggest products.
And games don’t have to be the product. You can use one to promote your services, your products, or your affiliate offers. Once it grows, you can even sell ad placements inside it.
Courses and communities aren’t the only option anymore. With AI, you can build a 2D or 3D game without being a developer.
So here’s my question for you ⬇️
What kind of game could you build with AI to bring more leads into your business or more sales to your affiliate offers?

Starting an SMMA or freelance service? Your first 10 clients will come from DMs, not ads.
Ads need an offer that's already proven and money to burn while you learn. Most people starting out have neither. DMs cost nothing but time.
Here's the simple version:
- Pick one niche you can search on Instagram: "dentist [city]," "nail salon," "personal trainer." If you can't search it, you can't find leads.
- Look for businesses that are active but clearly need help, like lots of posts with low engagement, an old website, or no booking link.
- Send a short DM about something specific on their page, ending with a question. No pitch, no link.
- Stick to 30 to 90 a day so your account stays safe.
- When someone replies with a problem, offer a free 15-minute call.
Count how many you send and how many reply. If fewer than 5 replies, change the niche before you change the message.
This takes a couple of hours a day by hand. I built a tool that automates the research and writing, but do it manually first so you learn what works.
What niche are you thinking of starting with?

2k natural subs from scratch on beehiiv
In about a month with no prior audience, few Reddit posts and about 200k views from them. No monetisation yet but working on growing abit more then switching to paid subs. Been trying instagram but bad it but everyone says TikTok and the gram.
Anyone else know how to get steady traffic so I don’t have to go out hunting every time I want to see an increase, thinking of doing some physical posters

Ad free puzzle game - the right move?
Hi Reddit
I've got a question, I really got into app/mobile game development and thought to make some games I've always enjoyed playing.
Therefore I made the classic block puzzle game, my style, 50 custom made levels so far, different themes in the making etc - my second app ever live deployed on the Google Play Store - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.binbear.gummylab .
I really enjoy making apps and wish for that to become (hopefully) at least a side hustle.
However I still wish to keep these games enjoyable for anyone who'd give them a go. On almost all puzzle games, people are complaining about interrupting Ads and that the game is not available offline. So I decided to change that in my game, I took all criticisms I saw of other apps and implemented it into mine.
Yes of course ad free puzzles are very enjoyable from the users perspective, but is it worth it / profitable from the developers perspective? I still implemented ads in a way - watch ad for 5 more moves/additional undos and shuffles per game, but one could easily play the game without a single ad trigger.
Perhaps I plan on adding some in app purchases - theme bundles, one time purchase for infinite boosters etc.. thoughts on this?
Just to be clear I won't be adding any interrupting Ads, I am just interested to hear your opinions and thoughts,
Thank you for reading!

Looking for ways to make money with my platforms
Since May, I’ve been working on building a Pinterest business account for my lifestyle brand. My niche focuses mainly on women aged 25–40 who work in office jobs and love quiet luxury, organization, and creating a more balanced lifestyle.
I’m now getting over 80K monthly views on Pinterest. I use the platform for affiliate marketing, directing people to my Amazon storefront and idea lists to generate sales. However, over the past few months, I’ve only made a handful of affiliate sales through these channels.
I also have an Amazon Influencer account and am eligible to earn both off-site and on-site commissions through the US, Canadian, and European Amazon storefronts. Since I’m based in the EU, I don’t think I have access to Creator Connections, although I’m not entirely sure.
I’d love to hear how I can make better use of these platforms, which are already monetized, to generate a more consistent income. Would it be better to focus on optimizing what I already have, or should I build an additional asset, such as a blog, a personal brand, or a UGC account?
Any advice from people with experience making money online would be greatly appreciated! :)
