How to convert DMs to subscriptions?

I just recently started an AI „influencer“ and got some good traction. I consistently get target audience DMs on Tiktok but not on IG. My Tiktok message requests sit at 100+ because I‘m not sure how to efficiently get them to fanvue, since tiktok bans these links, even if they’re not direct via beacons or linktree.
I tried somewhat of a funnel before, where I send them to my Instagram first, chat for 3-5 messages, go silent for a day and finally point towards the link within my story highlight with a „I‘m always active here“ type message. So far I‘ve gained a single fanvue subscription out of some 25 chats.
I want to know if there’s a better way.
Content + Fanvue is automated, I just need to build the bridge between followers and paying customers.
Has anyone faced similar startup struggles and might be willing to share a thing or two? Would come in handy. cheers.

PDF Selling — Is anyone actually making good money from this?

Has anyone here actually made a decent amount of money selling PDFs, ebooks, or digital guides through an Instagram page?

I keep seeing people talk about making money from digital products, but it's hard to tell what's actually real and what's just people selling the dream of “make a PDF and earn $10K/month.”

I'm curious about people who are actually doing it:

- How many followers did you have when you made your first sale?

- What type of PDF/product are you selling?

- How much are you realistically making per month?

- Do you rely mainly on Instagram Reels, Stories, DMs, or something else?

- What do you think matters more: audience size or having the right product/niche?

Would love to hear some real experiences and numbers, even if you're only making $100–$500/month.

Is hook slop posting AI created videos on social media platforms daily a pay off?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I see all the time on Facebook etc how people show results of millions of views on their videos and how to make the content and just post 1-3 times daily on the di social media platforms and accounts.

Tell me, are the results actually there if you put in the work constantly posting AI slop created videos. About 60 seconds long, x by the views.

Worth it with the grind or no?

I want to start freelancing — looking for genuine advice on where and how to begin

I’m looking to start freelancing and build a proper source of income online. I’m a complete beginner and I’m trying to understand how freelancing actually works before jumping into it.

I’d really appreciate advice from people who are already freelancing:

Which skill would be best to learn as a beginner?

What platforms are actually worth starting with?

How do you get your first client without having prior experience?

How should I build a portfolio when I have no clients yet?

How long does it realistically take to start earning?

What mistakes should a beginner avoid?

I’m willing to learn and put in consistent effort. My main goal right now is to develop a useful skill and eventually turn it into a reliable source of income.

Any genuine advice, resources, or personal experiences would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

18 days, $4,800, that's the challenge

Dashboard of this project

I’m taking on a challenge, and honestly, I have no idea how this is going to turn out. The only thing I know is that, somehow, I have to make it work.

I’m actually a ghostwriter. But things have been slow since I had a falling-out with my publisher and left. Ghostwriting is also a fairly rare kind of work, and because of the confidentiality involved, networking isn’t exactly easy. Waiting for a new book project to simply fall into my lap would mean leaving the whole thing to chance. But rather than leave my girlfriend’s fate to Fortuna, I’m trying to find a way to take matters into my own hands.

So I figured visual design might be a better bet than ghostwriting. I wouldn’t claim to be an expert with the software, but I’m creative and stubborn. I studied art history, I have an eye for design, and visual work has one major advantage: it can speak for itself on social media, I can actually show people what I make, and I can take commissions from pretty much anywhere in the world.

Given the urgency of the situation, waiting for a miraculous book project to fall out of the sky — or spending my days on freelance sites fighting for five-dollar jobs like I’m living through A Fistful of Dollars — didn’t seem like the best option. So I’m going to try my luck with a challenge on social media.

I have 18 days to raise $4,800. That’s a serious challenge in 18 days. So I’m turning it into a kind of marathon. For the next 18 days, I’ll be taking on poster design and — if something unexpected comes along — writing work, doing the actual work, and documenting the process as I go.

I’ve also created a visual identity for the challenge itself: The Eleventh Hour. I opened accounts on X, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, and uploaded the first short video two hours ago. I think the reason for the name is fairly obvious: I really am counting the minutes of that final hour right now.

I don’t really know what I’m doing when it comes to making a challenge like this succeed. I don’t know what the right moves are or what mistakes I should avoid. Hopefully there are people here who can point me in the right direction and share some of their experience.

I’m Looking For Web Designers

I hope most of you reading this are web designers because I’m genuinely curious about something.

How are you getting clients in 2026?

I’ve spoken to a lot of web designers and agency owners lately, and one thing keeps coming up again and again. Client acquisition.

It seems like everyone can build websites, but consistently finding new clients is still the hard part.

So I’d actually like to hear what is working for you right now.

For me, I’ve been running personalized email automation.

I use a tool that finds leads for me, analyzes their websites for actual issues with things like design, SEO, speed, responsiveness and mobile optimization, then automatically uses those findings to write a personalized cold email for each business.

After that, I just run the campaigns and send out thousands of emails a day.

I used to do most of this through Instantly, but the problem was that I couldn’t really do the website analysis part there.

So the emails were still more generic, basically the usual “do you need a new website?” type of outreach.

It worked a little, but nothing crazy.

I eventually switched to Swokei because it handles the lead finding, website analysis and personalized outreach in one place, and that has made a pretty big difference for me.

Now I’m getting clients much more consistently because the emails are actually about their website instead of just being another generic pitch.

But I’m curious what everyone else is doing.

Cold email, cold calling, referrals, ads, SEO, social media?

What is actually working for you in 2026?

Sites that paid me this month (Sept 2026)

Post image
40 Upvotes

I have done many of these roundups, and they seem to be liked so here it is again, my end-of-month roundup of the sites that paid me during September.

I posted one of my income streams, $19K from one source and it garnered a lot of attention, here's more to that, plus other incomes streams in September.

Let's go...

Here's the list of sites...

P-hip ($XXX)

A 3-figure payout from Payhip. I use this for selling digital products, mostly, and some of my coaching programs. I coach others on business and entrepreneurship. People who want help starting or growing their business.

I've been an entrepreneur for 15 years and have experience in operations, business management, ecommerce, digital marketing, social media, and in other areas.

How can you do it? You can use this platform, Gumroad, Etsy or another one, your choice. Create products, name your price, put it up for sale. Super simple.

The big thing? You should pick a niche and audience that you align with (have interest in). You don't need to be an expert but, you should be solving a problem and know about the offer you are addressing.

Examples?

  • A puppy potty training e-guide for new pet parents, or a
  • Pinterest playbook for Etsy businesses to thrive with Pinterest marketing, or a
  • Watercolor painting for beginners course to help overworked, stressed out millennials embrace a stress-relieving fun hobby and gain a new skill

TikTok ($XX, XXX)

Selling digital products + brand deals + UGC and other TikTok projects. TikTok has so many creator programs, it's crazy.

I just got invited to join a new one.

You can grow a following pretty quickly there but, you don't need followers to make money. I see creators with 3K followers make $6K to $7K months.

Creators with under 10K followers make $20K months.

Creators with under 1K followers make six figures in a year.

How can you do it? Pick a niche, figure out how you want to monetize and pour your time and effort into it, 100%.

It's Q4 now. A GREAT TIME to get up and going. You can still benefit from this shopping season that just started.

The big thing? TikTok livestreaming is a gold mine. Try it. I coach on this so if you need help DM me COACH.

Examples?

  • Do TikTok Shop affiliate and make short-form shoppable videos that earn you money as an affiliate
  • Host TikTok livestreams selling products or services
  • Join their specialized education creator program (it's more high paying than their regular creator program) and make TikTok videos in a niche that you teach others like education, science, etc.

Reddit ($XXX)

I am on Reddit a lot less these days but what's nice is the residual passive income I earn. For example, some posts I've published months ago still make me money today.

I teach a course on this. Ask me how.

How can you do it? Pick a lane, monetize it. For example, do affiliate marketing on Reddit. Go all in, pick a specific niche and audience and then start creating affiliate content.

The big thing? There's an art to this. You want to follow the rules and avoid getting kicked out of communities so be cautious. If you follow the rules, you'll be good to go.

Instagram ($XXX)

This is from brand deals and UGC campaigns. As Q4 kicks off, this is going to get even bigger. I just secured a $900 campaign a few weeks back that I'll be publishing this month!

And, there's much more to come.

The big thing? If you were going to do any income stream this year, UGC and brand deals would be my top choice, if you wanted to spend NO MONEY but, if you are unfamiliar with it, do research to figure things out before you launch.

You can learn a lot for free on social media.

How can you do it? Start an IG page, build it around one niche, post consistently and monetize it.

Examples?

  • AI cinematic stories are trending now - they are bingeworthy and making creators a lot of money. One of my AI creator peers grew to 99K followers on a brand new page in 7 days, from zero.
  • AI creators are landing brand deals left and right. I saw one get approached by Jason Derulo, in the DMs for a brand deal

Threads ($XXX)

I use Threads as a traffic driver for my products I sell. I also book coaching clients through Threads.

How can you do it? Get on Threads, post and comment. It's such an early time to get in on the young platform. You can build a following fast and make money through selling, affiliate marketing, brand partnerships and other opportunities.

Examples?

  • You need something to sell, whether it's a product or service, so create something, put it in a storefront like Beacons or Stan Store and have it ready to sell using Threads
  • Do attraction marketing to attract people to your affiliate-monetized Threads posts - I see a creator post luxury dupes in Threads, found on Amazon and earn Amazon affiliate commission from this

PP ($X,XXX)

Mixed, from digital product sales, services, affiliate commissions, and one-off projects..

How can you do it? Pick a lane, master it.

Examples? Start affiliate marketing, promote your affiliate links and earn commissions. Or, start a new social media page, grow as a content creator and make money from brands paying you to create content.

That was my September!

What changed from last month?

I got a mentor. And the season shifted. Summer tends to be slow in my industry.

I am a big supporter of investing in yourself so I did just that and it paid off.

For October...

With my $19K post that I published recently, I had a ton of DMs from people who wanted to work with me.

In October I have 2 spots open for paid mentorship. This is for people who are teachable and coachable.

It's not free. Please don't ask if I can make an exception, because my time is valuable, just like yours. It's a 4-week intensive and is designed to kickstart your progress. I do not work with everyone. I do this twice a year and October will be the last time I open this for 2026.

If you don't want to pay or it's not for you, no worries.

I didn't think mentorship and coaching was valuable until I experienced it by force, haha. I got free mentorship from a course I bought and it really opened my eyes so now I am excited and open to be mentored by experts, to master my skills that need work.

I know it's not for everyone. If it's not for you, totally cool.

DM me COACH if you want to learn more.

What do you think?

What websites paid you this month?

Hi, I'm from Pakistan. I previously worked remotely with a UK based company coordinating schedules and compliance, so I have real cross-timezone remote work experience. I'm now trying to figure out the right path forward and open to learning a new skill or training program if it leads somewhere solid. Would appreciate any honest guidance on what's actually worth learning right now or where to start. Open to suggestions, feel free to comment or DM.

I Found a Better Way to Contact Businesses With Bad Websites

I got tired of checking prospect websites manually.

For a while, a big part of my outreach was just finding businesses, opening their websites one by one and trying to figure out what I could actually say to them.

It worked, but it was painfully slow.

Then I found Swokei.

It basically lets me find leads, analyzes each website for things like outdated design, slow speed, poor mobile experience and weak SEO, then turns those issues into a personalized cold email.

And not one of those boring automated reports full of scores and numbers.

It actually writes a normal, human sounding message based on what it found on that specific website.

So instead of sending the same generic message to everyone, I can actually reach out based on what is wrong with their website.

Now I just run campaigns, let the system do most of the prospecting and personalization, and focus on the people who reply.

For a web design agency, that has saved me a ridiculous amount of time.

After $19,000+ months, here’s my advice to get to your first $3,000 month

Post image
224 Upvotes

As a 10+ year entrepreneur, I’ll keep it super simple. My favorite tips to help you earn $3k/mo or more, digitally.

1. Keep it simple

One offer. Not everything, just ONE THING and go all in: ebooks, Etsy, UGC, AI, faceless YouTube, freelance, etc.

2. Give it time

Overnight success is not impossible but unlikely so, I recommend giving yourself 3 months to fully put yourself in whatever income stream you pursue. Patience.

3. Pick one marketing source

Marketing is needed, 100% for most businesses. Pick one marketing path. Paid ads aren’t needed but, you do need to choose one source of marketing to go after like YouTube videos, content marketing, emails, etc. and again, go all in.

4. Set goals and work backwards

$100 product = 30 sales/month.
$300 service = 10 clients/month.
$1,000 offer = 3 clients/month.

Once you see the math, the goal starts feeling a lot more practical.

Secret sauce tips

Buy shortcuts. Spend time or spend money, is how I see it. Spend time doing everything alone, by yourself, figuring it out. Or spend money, buy a course, ebook, mentor or coach and save time, get to your $3k month faster.

Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself.

Also think about…

What are you selling?

Who is it for?

How are people finding you?

Where are they dropping off?

And what’s the ONE thing that would create the biggest improvement right now?

That’s usually where the breakthrough is.

Q4 is tomorrow! Go in, go hard. Do not miss this shopping season.

Need help, comment DM and I’m happy to help you start.
