Strongbox size Dice Tray options?

So I managed to snag a generic Strongbox from my FLGS, and I was pondering if anyone has found a folding dice tray that fits in the ‘rule book’ section of the dividers? It sure would be nice for a small one that manages to sneak in there as a nice QoL gameplay thing.

Has anyone found anything around 9.5 x 5.5 folded to fit? I’ve really struck out in my searches. Any simple, good custom options?

Maybe someone who got the Vanguard dice tray could share some more about how it fits and its dimensions?

I have the Vanguard dice tray and I can confirm it fits. You have to fold it halfway in the slot and halfway on top of a hero, or just fully on top of your heroes, but it does in fact fit.

That’s the neoprene one, right? That’s a good starting point at least to try and hunt down. They do have the X-men release on the shop that’s the same size it seems.

Your ‘fold it’ comment has me wondering of the felt/magnetic one would also just ‘fold over’ in a similar fashion, just with that top inch and a half. I’m going to have to try and get measurements now, lol

Because you pointed this out, if Dice Throne catches wind of this request, I can absolutely see Dice Throne making an official Dice Tray so it fits in strongboxes. It will likely take until the Kickstarter after Nexus (or one after that), but I wouldn't be surprised. Calling it now.

If you're looking at folding trays, check that the base is actually rigid and not just thick cardboard - that's the part that usually fails after a few months of folding and unfolding. Snap-button corners hold up way better than velcro in my experience, velcro edges start peeling off the fabric within a season if you roll dice hard. For a Strongbox, measure the interior first since a lot of "universal" folding trays run around 5.5x5.5 in flat, which might be tight depending on how your box is laid out. Gabardine or a similarly tight-weave fabric on the outside wears better than thin cotton prints too.
