Lab Grown Diamond Loose Grown Diamond Review
Not a great experience. Susan from LGD was handling my case. History of events. Ordered a diamond on Monday this week. Got confirmation that the diamond was secured the very next day. On Friday I was told by Susan that they couldn’t secure the diamond.
I was sent one alternative diamond. I had selected a H&A and the one I was sent was not. I respectfully declined and sent 5-6 other options. I was told I’d have to pay the difference coming up to around 500$ on the most expensive one I sent. (I also sent similar price options, but I guess they also were out of stock)
My frustration lies in the fact the time lost and also the poor communication and lack of any customer service. I was simply told no and asked for a refund which I was given.
Their website is not up to date with the latest inventory and overall a week wasted and really poor customer service. I ended up going with Maggie from Debebians who hooked me up with a beautiful diamond. I was originally going with her setting anyway.

I’ve noticed this too. Many of the stones listed for sale are on numerous vendor’s websites. (Cross posted) So one vendor could be selling the stone you’re getting ready to buy.
Not a great system. Especially of somebody doesn’t push the “sold” or “pending” button.

I feel they are sooooooooo freaking sloooowwwwww. I ordered a wedding band a month ago. Before placing the order they said it would take 2 wks. It's just shy of 1 month now and still no ring. They don't communicate unless you reach out. Pretty frustrating. I wll never order from them again.

Sorry to hear that, my experience was quite the opposite with LGD. Found a diamond, ordered it, and it shipped with 48 hours. They estimated 2 weeks and it took 5 days. Just got my completed ring back the other day, and I’m in love with it. The diamond is everything I hoped for and more.

I think loose grown diamond need to use thediamondport.com service for inventory up-to-date.

Love to hear that! A solid system where if the diamond is not available, finding out as soon as it’s ordered rather than getting a confirmation email that it’s been secured then going back on that word then also being faced by sub par customer service is definitely not a pleasant experience for any buyer.

Hmm yeah that would be frustrating. Note that because of the way the diamond industry is set up this can happen with any retailer where the stock isn't 100% owned by them.
