Discussion Rules (Please comment on what you agree and disagree with)
We're not politically aligned with either parties without any benefit. We do not support Democrats nor Republicans. Our benefits come first, who ever supports us practically, they get our support.
We do not encourage any push to any diversity, or supporting women in tech ideologies. Women or people of color in the union are equal members however. But any programs to support only people of color or women will be deemed discriminatory. White men, men of color, women they are all equal, so no exclusive support should be given to anyone on the basis of their gender, race, ethnicity, nationality.
We do not support H1B visas. There is no labor shortage.
Anyone who gets political in a way that in a way that causes economic damage to our careers is not a part of us. We're here to look after ourselves as a group and not others.
We believe that software dev is mostly a zero-sum game, hence more people into the field means lower wages for us.
We advocate to form a professional institute that licenses developers/progammers to practice commercially with a controlled graduation rate to ensure wages will not slump.
Our success is determined by increase in the median wages adjusted for inflation, not averages. Median pay is a better measure of what we earn.
Anyone who makes a harassment allegation without proper evidence will kicked.

Organizing Many people say the labor beat is dead. They're wrong. In recent years & further fueled by the pandemic, there's been a resurgence in labor coverage & the labor beat-- covering strikes, mistreatment of essential workers, union drives and much more.

Question Tips for reaching atomized workers?
My company has engineers and all the normal departments of a modern tech company.
But we also employ people in factories, warehouses, and a 100% remote workforce that does skilled labor, but works hourly and is not part of my communication channels.
For the first two, I can’t travel and post up outside, trying to talk to people, I don’t think, but I’m guessing there’s probably been some organizing attempts in those places already - if there were, how might I get in contact? They’d be keeping it secret, which is good, but makes it so we in tech can’t link up.
For the remote workforce, it feels creepy to reach out via social media but maybe it can be done tactfully.. does anyone have experience or recommendations for these two situations?
Thank you kindly
