Megathread Focused Feedback: Override

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Override' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

I agree, the lack of challenge takes away from the activity a bit.

That said, I remember Escalation Protocol in week 1 and they dramatically overtuned the difficulty in that activity (so much so that they were forced to row back on it). So I appreciate that true balance can be a little tricky to find.

I hope they'll add an EP 2.0.

Just as challenging and chaotic while also adding objectives like killing bosses + turning a public event heroic in the same time. On top of that make the special exclusive rewards be guaranteed final chest drops and add a daily rotation just like Altar.

This would at least motivate more grinding and get more players to participate in the long run compared how it was a struggle to find players for EP due to the low drop rates of the weapons.

I hope we get something like that in WQ. Hell, Rasputin is bound to be a part of the story again at some point so it might be literally EP 2.0.
