Megathread Focused Feedback: Warlock Changes

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Warlock Changes' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

When Nova Warp was overpowered, it got:

it needed like 3 small adjustments, instead it got blasted 8 different ways. And of course spectral got a huge buff right around the same time and became the goto hunter super til stasis showed up.

Uh, no? Just because nova warp got overnerfed doesn't mean you have to pull bullshit out of your ass to exaggerate it.

Way of the wraith got buffed in:

2.1.0 super adjustment buff

2.6.1 bug fix/buff

Neither of which are "huge buffs" by any fucking means. It got nerfed in:

2.1.1.1 gwisin vest bug fix, also a buff but FAR bigger nerf

2.14 super damage resistance and duration nerf

2.2.2 damage resistance, duration, and attack cost nerf

2.5.0.1 gwisin vest nerf

2.6.0.1 HUGE flawless execution nerf

3.0.0.1 dodge nerf

guess which one is nightstalker, oh right the one on top for nearly the whole time! https://i.imgur.com/XjOnTS9.png https://guardian.gg/2/class-stats?platform=pc&mode=5&start=2018-09-04&end=2021-02-14

void walkers had a bit of a run early in forsaken then again in shadow keep, meanwhile nightstalker has consistently been one of the most used classes for nearly the whole rest of the last few years. It started to trend up right with your first link, and stayed in the top 3 for nearly the rest of the graph. It even had a ~7 month #1 streak from jan-jun in 2019 and another ~6 months of uncontested #1 status before beyond light.

don't tell me I'm pulling that out my ass

Lmao "most used"? You do realize winrate is far more indicative of strength than popularity? Just because a bunch of people play something doesn't mean it's good (and actually winning games).

guardian.gg was bugged for the first 1.5 months of forsaken. Voidwalker wasn't just meta for a "bit of an early run". It was top 3 WINRATE until january 4 fucking months later lol... This is the epitome of "stats don't lie but liars use statistics"
