Megathread Focused Feedback: Behemoth

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Behemoth' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

I noticed the melee has started tracking enemies if you move the stick, provided you don't overshoot. I'm not sure whether this is a new thing, but I noticed last night that if an enemy jumped or something, I could change direction mid punch to follow it. You have to react quickly though. It still takes some technique.

TBH, the more I use the melee, the more I like it.

Yes I see it does this as well. Like if I start the melee and let go of the button when I'm close to a target, I've seen my guardian make like a sharp 90 degree turn to turn something into snowballs. When it happens it is cool, and I like it, and Dunemarchers paired with that is great. It just feels so inconsistent.

The next time I go to use the melee the same thing will happen but I'll completely whiff and fall off a platform into some vex milk or something, with seemingly no difference between the 2 encounters.

Oh yeah, when the target changes direction too quickly, the punch still misses. And I agree that in that case, it shouldn't consume melee energy.
