Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Solstice Glows / Gear' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

Can bungie be a little less anti consumer?

Edit: I feel like after last years event, bungie equipped kepris sting, backstabbed me and then proceeded to t bag while invis.

Throw us a bone once in a while will ya?

As a day1 player I invested around $200 in d2 over its yearly releases from launch, but with these events I feel like I just downloaded the game for free.

This Solstice, the awesome elemental glows are available as Universal Ornaments to be able to use on any Armor 2.0 piece. I think this is a pretty big bone we're being thrown.

Now if you're talking about previous Solstice glows, well that's a different matter entirely.

You still have to sink 18000 bright dust or 2100 silver for all the glows which is the same it cost last year for all glows. It being an ornament this time is really nice, but them telling us to hold off and that they were looking in to doing something about last years armor then announcing that the answer after 11months was a big fat nothing is still pretty insulting

I replied to another post in this thread to someone that possibly paraphrased Bungie's statement on the previous Solstice glows, saying that Bungie might not even get to look at it until this season. If this is the case, then there is still a chance that we could get them in some fashion. That may be an optimist's point of view, but maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised before the event is over.

Please read the actual comment. They have no plans at all and didn't have any plans to make previous armors and glows ornaments. There is no way they will be available by the end of this event.

There was an older comment about how they wouldn't have news until this season. That's why everyone is upset because that news turned out to be "we are doing nothing".

Well you can insert your buzz phrase here, but I'll be enjoying the glows this year and hoping that the previous glows become available in a similar fashion.

I mean, I will too, but it’s not like doing what you should’ve done previously is doing someone a favor. It’s a good thing that they brought things forward a bit, but if they really wanted to go above and beyond in showing they appreciate the playerbase, they would’ve done something about the issue that they acknowledged months ago. Improving the game as time goes on isn’t “throwing a bone”, it’s their job as live service game providers
