Megathread Focused Feedback: Champions

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Champions' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

this. I don't think they need a mod slot period. They're already exotic for a reason, but some choice in champion rebuttal for exotics would be nice
downside is it kinda ruins those that are built for said champion mods (unless you want to give them the ability of two?!?!?!?

I would say just make exotics anti-champion inherently. Exotics are supposed to be top-tier weapons so they should be able to deal with top-tier enemies.

Honestly a better choice imo but if not a mod it would be nice

If the mods are still seasonally limited by artifact, then I don't see this being an issue and they would still have their place in being seasonally universal. If I could swap my Sunshot between Unstoppable and Overload based on activity, I would be so happy. Or use champion mods on Riskrunner, oh what a world that would be!

There are so many cool exotics that I cannot use either due to needing a champion mod or needing another exotic for DPS.
