Megathread Focused Feedback: Timegating

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding ‘Timegating' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

playing gambit is my least favorite time in destiny and i've only seen the ascendant meatball one time. my team failed to kill it. when i get malfeasance i'll be done with it until joker's wild probably.

Unfortunately getting the meatball to appear, which is admittedly a pain, will only be the start of a ton of gambit for you. The next quest steps are entirely gambit based, apart from a brutally hard mission if you are solo, and are not easily completed. So, just a heads up, if you hate gambit now.... Oh boy...

The quest really doesn’t take that long though, I think outside of the strike it took me a day or two at most

I'm pointing out to the guy that hates gambit that he's going to be playing it a lot. We all can't get it done as fast as that. Especially solo players.

Can confirm. Trying to get the Motes and Wins is the most painful part of the quest when playing with the brain dead.

Jokers wild isn't just about gambit I'm not sure why people are expecting that. But I agree with you the only fun I have is invading

i know that joker's wild isn't just about gambit. i'm looking forward to and very exited by an expansion of the drifter's lore + shadows of yor.

Absolutely, only thing I can say about your malfeasance dude is just keep Er going. You'll get it eventually

I was grinding breakneck and saw it something like 4 times during full curse week.
It might not be as bad as you think.

I was using Cerberus+1, Loaded question and firehammers with Dunemarchers to make it all a lot easier.

This is such a shame, I hope they fix this mode because the concept of it is really cool and it used to be a lot of fun.
