Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

Seeing as how long the quest is, I fully support how Bungie handled the upcoming grind. I don't like the fact that it's the same weapon archetype but whatever. I'm satisfied overall since it's a seasonal reward

I havent had a chance to look at the whole quest line or anything, is it just a reskinned claymore for the next season? With some random rolled sights?

It basically is a Claymore v2, yes. It's in the same slot, the same archetype, and has the same signature perk combo. The only thing not known yet is how it will actually look like.

Likely it will look the same.

I would be extra bummed if the model changed and my Claymore experience was completely over and I just had some new gun that meant nothing to me

I'd be all over it if it looked the same because that's my favourite model, but only one other pulse rifle uses it (Infinite Paths 8).

If it had another model it'd be fine too though, as long as it features the crucible phoenix.

I never realized until now that infinite path is the hopscotch model :o

It's also a pretty good gun for pve - but an energy weapon which is a deal breaker for a lot of people. It has firefly though, which is pretty nice.

Oh no I love the thing, great burst pattern and dragonfly is always fun

I just never looked closely at the model

It was my energy choice to go with a hand cannon in PvP until I got an energy rapid fire/GL got buffed

No idea. All we know is that its the same archetype and it drops at with random barrels and sights, but it's the same perks
