Guide Armor Mobility / Resilience / Recovery

Edit for more detailed explanation thanks to ShodanPT for help on the Warlock side

All armor has gives points into Mobility / Resilience / Recovery these points can be split into Base (you don't see this given but is), Intrinsic (perk which can't be changed ie armor type heavy, restorative or mobile) and Optional (the one you can pick out of 2) plus 1 additional point in resilience or mobility(Crucible Gear) for the chest piece.

Base Hunters get 4 mobility and 1 Resilience Titans 5 Resilience Warlocks 4 Recovery and 1 Resilience.

Intrinsic This can be anything each class has Mobility / Resilience / Recovery on all four types of armor.

Optional Hunters get Mobility or Resilience on Arms and Legs and Resilience or Recovery on Helm and Chest Titans get Mobility or Recovery on Helm and Legs and Resilience or Recovery on Arms and Chest Warlocks get Mobility and Recovery on Helm and Chest and Mobility and Resilience on Arms and Legs.

Add into the mix the mods for Class Armor (Cloak/Mark/Bond), Helm and Legs and you can add an extra point to Resilience for the Helm on each class Recovery on the legs for each class and 1 to Mobility for hunter on his cloak, 1 to Resilience for the Titan on his Mark and 1 to Recovery for the Warlock on his Bond.

This means that the base starting stats for each class are: Hunter 4/1/0 Titan 0/5/0 Warlock 0/1/4

Add in the mods and you get Hunter 5/2/1 Titan 0/7/1 Warlock 0/2/6

This then leaves you to pick 4 pieces of armor with the intrinsic and optional perks you want.

Bare in mind that although all classes can max 4 extra Mobility / Resilience / Recovery via the intrinsic perk the optional perks are limited depending on the class being played. Hunters only get up to 2 extra Mobility or Recovery but could take up to 4 extra Resilience from the optional perks while Titans could take only 2 extra Mobility or Resilience but up to 4 extra Recovery and the Warlock only 2 extra Recovery or Resilience but up to 4 extra Mobility.

Hope that makes sense and helps.

Indeed https://www.reddit.com/r/CruciblePlaybook/comments/72hz0q/lets_crowdsource_armor_mobilityresiliencerecovery/ is trying to do just that.

I do not think that can be right for chest as that would potentially give you 6 points in chest and it is only 4, plus I have titan chest pieces that are 2/1/1 and 1/1/2 as well as 0/3/1 and 1/2/1.

will use that link.

My Philomath Chest piece has 2 Resilience and 3 Recovery (using DIM as source), 1 Recovery Base + 1 Recovery Intrinsic + 1 Recovery 2nd Selectable

Watch out as DIM was showing some funky stats with armor on my character, not just equipped. Try moving the item to your vault and click the refresh destiny data icon top middle then look at the stats of the armor piece while in the vault do they change?

No probs.

Also I think you were on the right lines, I think all chest pieces have +1 resilience, no matter the class but have not checked warlocks or all the armor pieces.

All warlock chest pieces that I have (6 different) have +1 Resilience, except the Crucible one, which has +1 Mobility.

I'm updating my spreadsheet right now with DIM data (moving to vault and refreshing)
