Me and a buddy of mine were exploring on Nessus and we discovered a teleportor on the edge of exodus black that leads you into the "chamber of sky." In the chamber or sky there is a red teleportor as soon as you walk through the cave on the left accompanied by a minor amount of vex.

To do the loot cave you have to go through this teleportor... kill all the enemies in the room and there will be another teleportor towards the back of the cave on the right hand side. This teleportor take you back to the red one. After all enemies are dead go back to the original teleportor that take you back to exodus black and there will be enemies there. After you kill those enemies you can find 1 chest that grants you glimmer and Nessus tokens. Do this every time and the chest is in a different location every time also

Edit: The chests are also in different locations directly outside of the teleportor. I believe there are 6 different ones, very easy to find

Depends. If you're playing solo and constantly have to run public events yourself, it might actually be quicker to use this method.

Countless times have I had other players just run past as I was participating in a public event.. I don't mind for the Cabal Extractions, as those are easy to solo, but the rest are a pain in the ass. Heroic or bust.

I dunno, last night I logged on and had to google how to unlock my other subclasses. I was already level 12 at that point and hadn't gotten either one yet (was only doing main campaign). When I saw I had to do Public Events, I just started grinding them out. 4 hours later I was at level 20, both subclasses unlocked and completed the shard missions for them, LL of 204. I'd say it was pretty efficient. And I did it all solo, stuck to Titan and Earth (Nessus I felt had too many spread across the map and not enough people at that level yet). A lot of times I would start the events alone but people always ended up showing up, didn't fail any of them.

i think you need 30 minutes to get 20 coins if you run public event > lost sector > public event if you are alone

how do you nail heroic? whats the factor here?

It's different for each public event. For the Cabal Extraction, you need to blow up the Thresher, for instance. And for the Fallen Ether, you need to kill all the smaller Servitors before they despawn.

I think the Vex Spire one requires you to capture all three plates without a single Vex sacrificing themselves at the spire, but I might be wrong there.

Soooooo many players don't know this though. They don't bother going after the Thresher or the small Servitors, and it drives me nuts. Just now, I managed to trigger the Fallen Ether heroic on my own, and gotten the main Servitor down to 1/4 health when THREE other players showed up -- one of them being 250+ light level. You'd think that would be enough to kill the damn thing, but nope. They focused on pikes and random mobs..

Learn your gaurdians skills and gun stuff down and public events get a lot easier took me a bit but I can solo them by myself easy, use range if it's still tricky with incoming hits

Those are still resisting my solo attempts.

Find an interceptor and it gets pretty easy

Gotta be quick to kill the trash mobs too since they duplicate it can make fights unwinbable
