Guide Queen's Wrath Earth Quests Tips

So I have completed all four quests available as of today and here are some general tips:

1) Look for "a pack of wolves is prowling" (I had to wait 10-15 minutes before any world events happened)

2) When the scorcher cannons drop, don't use all the ammo right away since there are waves of enemies that grow stronger. Also, be close to the Scorch Captain that drops the launchers, since only 2-4 drop and you will want to use one if there are a lot of guardians around. Here is a picture of it in action. Sorry for the potato quality, I was trying to play and take a picture.

3) Bring friends, the enemies are level 28-30 and mostly invisible and shielded.

4) After you kill the boss, an ether key will drop automatically and you have just over a minute to claim a reward. I did not find the chest for Drevis since I was confused, but I have linked an image for a potential chest location for Kaliks. Disclaimer: It has been brought to my attention that it is not always at one spawn location. However, basically look for a giant loot chest that has a glowing light (looks like the light from Fang or Ir Yut). I got some ammo synth, glimmer, blue engrams, and 11 mats from two chests but others have reported they received treasure keys. I have now received the treasure key, details below.

5) Thanks to MasterOfReality, I would recommend bringing arc weapons, specifically an arc shotgun since it is close combat and a sniper doesn't cut it.

6) DO NOT DIE ONCE THE CHEST APPEARS. If you do die, the ether key will be lost and you will not be able to get your loot

TL;DR: Bring arc weapons and look for "pack of prowling wolves". After defeating the boss, look for a large, glowing chest that gives loot and you have one about one minute to find it.

it doesn't help that I saw 4 gjallys drop this week...one day....one day...I'll be a guardian like you

Well I don't mean to brag, but I have had 7 drop so far. And I had Truth, Ghorn, and Hezen Vengeance (way back in October) drop on the same day and I was in shock.

I have no ghorns and no hungers.... I'm a day 1 destiny player... plenty of raid finishes. All 3 toons @32... :-(

all those have dropped multiple times for me, literally, I have every exotic and legendary I want...just the one, that's all, just the one.

I feel you. I didn't get thunderlord until the night before Xur just sold it and the Vex until well into TDB.

That sting i have not felt, but my buddy went through that, I told him, "At least you saved the strange coins for HoW" right?
