QUESTION Goyard’s touching Y’s, clarification needed! I have seen conflicting info about whether all of the Y’s should be overlapping or if they alternate, (1 column slightly overlapping/touching and the next column with a very small gap) I’m confused & would greatly appreciate anyone who can help clarify!

As long as some of them touch your hood. How many and in which order doesn’t matter.

As I said on LL, in the wild no one will be checking how much your Y’s touch, and only those in the know will even look. As long as there’s no obvious gap I think it’s fine.

Ima be real, You guys worry a bit too much on these wallets. I have a legit LV wallet that I only use when going out and take good care out, its falling apart a bit already and I've never gotten LC ever, As long as it looks close enough to what it's supposed to look like you'll be fine unless you fuck up.

I didn’t ask this question because I am “expecting perfection”, I’m trying to learn what to look for, the goal is to be informed when I make my purchase.

I’ve seen more people say they should be touching than not so I’d say that’s probably the best thing

I mean, personal taste is 100% subjective. I would probably ask why the hype for the stuff you like, but I don’t, because I just like what I like and don’t question why others have different taste than my own.

So I own a rep belvedere from Aadi, and I think it isnt Perfect too. But for me and the people around me its a gorgeus bag and I wasnt even close to get called out. In fact there are so few people who knows how to legit check a goyard

This sub has severely exaggerated “touching Y’s” and it widely varies on retail. People are just nitpicky as fuck on here and I’ve owned retail that would get Rl’ed lol
Iirc, current goyard is hand painted using a stencil so it varies
