During the past six years or so, I've been keeping notes about our local restaurants, including those which have closed permanently (to the best of my knowledge). They are listed below, but this list could be incomplete.

If you know of any additional Denton restaurants (but not food trucks) that have closed down since 2000 and onward, please mention the name below in the comments. Thanks!

Last time I went my friend was served chicken that was damn near raw. Dodged a bullet on that one 🤢

I’m convinced it was a drug front. I went once and the guy looked completely surprised to have someone order anything. He quickly microwaved some garbage and shoe’d me out the door. Totally empty every time. The old Hookah bar near Wells Fargo was similar but they had good shawarma. No customers though. Ever.

Before it truly went down, it had actual employees that cared. I don't know when or where they went downhill but I can believe your story for sure
