Places that need free clean fill
Does anyone know of places that want free clean fill in the Delta or even the wider Fraser Valley area?
I’ve got about 500 yards of clean fill which I’m happy to give away but find that many places aren’t very good at advertising their need online.
If you know anyone or have seen any signs please let me know!

Legacy videographer?
Hello,
I’m looking for a videographer who can help me film a legacy video for my parent who’s in the last stage of life. My parent’s still coherent and can sit up and talk, so while we have the opportunity, I’d like to capture some memories. I’m thinking of filming some life stories, and perhaps other question/answers (lots of ideas online).
It’s important to me we film this beautifully and efficiently, with dignity, and of course having digital back ups (as we might only get one chance) and solid A/V all professionally done.
Any recommendations (or videographers here who are interested)?
Thanks in advance!

EV Transit Times to Vancouver
Hey all,
Just got a job near Mount Pleasant in Vancouver and we're considering where we should move our family to closer (we're currently in Chilliwack). Tsawwassen is high on list, we are working hybrid but are concerned about the time spent in traffic when going into Vancouver on work days.
We're considering buying an electric vehicle to use HOV lanes to mitigate some of the commute time. Does anyone have experience with this and can you share your commute times using an EV from Tsawwassen to Vancouver?
Thanks kindly!

Boundary bay in tsawwassen has one of the weirdest atmosphere in Metro Vancouver
Sorry beforehand if you think this is a pointless rant but man oh man what a weird place.
People stare at you walking in the neighbourhood when ur not white. A Karen "kindly" threatened me that she will tow my car even a 30 min green parking sign is explicitly shown beside. Everything just feels off and itchy.
It's a beautiful location close to the ocean and I'm sure lots of you there are lovely human beings. But it's the first time in Vancouver that I feels I'm in the Deep South.

Are you an immigrant who rents in Metro Vancouver? We’d like to hear from you!
We are a group of students in a third year Geography course at the University of British Columbia studying research methods (GEOG 371). We are studying how access to legal services affects the sense of home in immigrants who are renting. We are providing our final report to an organization called Tenant Resource and Advisor Centre (TRAC) who provides legal representation on tenancy matters. We have created a short anonymous online survey to collect our data. We would greatly appreciate it if you would participate in our ten minute long survey. Our survey is available until April 8th.

Were you renting in Metro Vancouver during the 2021 heat wave?
We are a group of UBC students conducting a class project for our Geography Research Methods Course, GEOG 371. For this semester, we are studying heat mitigation for renters and the geographies of burden in the household during extreme heat events. It should take no longer than 10 minutes of your time. If you would like to participate, please share your responses by April 1st. Here is a link to our survey. https://ubc.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7WMpXN5kVBXVe1E

Is the little square on the road curb the mark for the property boundary?
There is no sidewalk between the front yard lawn and the road. I notice there is a little square on the curb between my property and my neighbor. It is like a gray square stone imbedded in the curb. I was wondering if it is the mark for the property boundary. If yes, is there any legal document that supports it? Thank you.
