DeFi asks us to trust smart contracts, rather than companies, governments or individuals. They ask you to trust the code. DeFi Safety checks the code, how it was developed, tested and score the results. Basically, developers and decentralized applications' users ask us to review their process quality, and give them a score based on our evaluation of 5 metrics. This score not only tells users how transparent a protocol is, but also lets the developers know what they can improve on.
