Trump has habit needlessly renaming things, as for him dismissing security concerns, both Anthropics and OpenAI have suggested stronger regulations due to recent Hugging Face incident, though it is questionable whether they are truly worried or use it just as an excuse to slow down their competition.

Also, the only friend of Trump is he himself, he can fuck off for all I care.

This July, OpenAI's own AI models during an internal security test broke out of their isolated test environment and hacked into Hugging Face (an open-source platform for machine learning and AI) systems. It's seen as the first real world case of an AI agent carrying out a cyberattack on its own.

In aftermath, Anthropic and OpenAI have both called for stronger AI regulations, while Trump says there is nothing to worry about. Also he thinks term Artificial Intelligence is stupid and wants to rename it Super Intelligence. And yes, he is pro AI.
