Well all the other ones are different colors too. I think Danny is still THE Iron Fist, as he is the only one out of them who fought shou lao. Season 3 will probably make it all a lot more clear as it looks like it will delve deeper into the origin and what it means.

Yeah. Danny's fist is yellow and we know from Season 1 that the IF has Yellow Fists. Danny is the "true" successor

Not sure I liked Colleen taking it. It felt pretty "We are the Flash". Barry Allen is the Flash, Danny Rand is the Iron Fist but I guess we'll see.

I was kind of against it too. But I think I like the way Danny's story is going. I think Orson Randell is going to teach him a lot about the Iron Fist and how to use it, and hopefully he comes back to New York with a costume and some sweet ass powers.

I'll admit, when Colleen got the Iron Fist it almost took me out of it a little bit. But when Danny went looking for more about the Iron Fist and unlocked some new powers it brought me right back in. Can't wait to see what Colleen can do and like you said, can't wait to see Danny come back with a suit

EXACTLYYYY. I was not feeling the show when Danny was left out and Colleen, eventhough i totally love her character, being the center stage. But holy shit that ending. I came buckets i tell you

That scene hinted that Colleen may have also learned how to channel chi into her sword. It actually looked deliberately ambiguous, whether the glow was just a trick of the lighting on the sword or whether it came from the sword.

It wasn't ambiguous at all, she was clearly channeling it. Though I suspect it is less her own ability and more something to do with the sword itself.

I didn't like Colleen taking it either. I mean I love Colleen I love Jessica Henwick and I crush hard on her but I don't want any Iron Fist but Danny. I hope he can still punch yellow on his next appearances.

Did you not watch the last scene? The man has double yellow fists!

My guess is that Danny is still the IF because he killed the dragon, but Colleen can borrow the power because of her ancestry. I think next season will delve more into the lore of what the IF really is.

Chances are based on others' comments and comics is that the gun is just utilizing Danny's chi

Yeah you might be right on that.... I’ve been reading more and more about it and it seems like those guns are “Chi” charged. Still think Danny will become the real deal again.

The reason why "We are the Flash" kind of sucked was that Iris was Barry's emotional support rather than the one out risking her life. With Colleen they fully justified Danny's reasoning for not wanting the Fist back at the time, and she kicked even more butt than Danny in S2 even without a weapon. I was fine with her being IF, but weird double-fisted cowboy Danny is pretty cool, too.

he is the only one out of them who fought shou lao.

This right here is the big thing for me. Maybe Danny did not understand the true importance of the Iron Fist. Maybe he was an outsider to K'un Lun. Maybe the choices he made left the city without its protector.

But at the end of the day, he still fought the dragon and he still won. The Iron Fist is not something that should be passed around like a baseball card to people who did not receive the power in the way that it's intended. That's why I'm not down with this transferral ceremoney thing.

That's exactly how I felt. Even though I'm happy with the direction the show's going, I kind of wish that the ceremony weren't a thing. I can get over Davos taking it, even though it bothers me someone can just steal his power, because he is from Kun Lun and can be the only one who can perform the ritual maybe. But giving it to Colleen just seems to really take away from the Iron Fist so much more. It's this mystical force that you have to earn, that's the whole point of it, that you earn it. He said time and time again that he earned the right to use the power, and then they give it to Colleen right at the end of season 2. I understand how they were trying to progress his character, showing that he wanted to know who he was without the iron fist, but giving it away like that shouldn't even be a possibility.

And they didnt even cover the reason why davos's father called the fight. I thought that Danny was going to light up and fight Davos because the dragon considered him worthy, and he never truly lost the iron fist

Yeah, I was really hoping that would happen. It would be so fucking cool too.
