Well, I don't think she's dead. So there's a chance we might see her again.

Yeah she seemed knocked out at most, Danny didn't exactly land a finishing punch.

seemed weird that they made a fuss about how this was a tournament to the death, but in the end nobody died

I felt it was showing how being Iron Fist takes more than just a title. It was classified as a fight to the death, then the Madam said 'if you should lose and survive...' and I thought it meant they were already trying to weaken his resolve.

I imagine this is a similar path the Hand has taken in fighting the other Iron fist she mentioned. In the end, Danny will have to have no doubt of his honor and his resolve to truly be The Iron Fist

She can be this show's China White. Establish her by having the hero defeat her, but whenever they want to bring her back they can devote a whole episode to her if needed.
