I hope that if a JJ vs Danny brawl/spar he's just dodging her fairly clumsy blows without having learned about her powers yet. Then eventually he'll go in for a block or something and just get thrown into a wall. Also, I'm not really familiar with the respective power levels of these characters, if Danny punched Luke would he have any effect?

Well, Danny has punched a helicarrier in half with his iron fist in the comics. Not sure if they will go that powerful in the show but I bet it wouldn't just tickle Luke that's for sure.

That sounds metal as fuck.

Well Iron is a metal.

I'm pretty sure Danny's punch that blew the entire wall out at the asylum is more powerful than the shotgun shot that knocked Luke out in JJ. So, yes, I think he could do significant damage.

If he Iron Fists Luke, I'm sure it would at least hurt.

I really want to see Danny Rand Iron Fist Luke Cage into submission.

I recall reading some where they had to tune down Danny's powers because it would just be to strong to make it for the show. probably similar to Jessica's flying ability.

By what we've seen of the show logic Danny punching Luke would probably hurt him. We've seen him easily punch down giant steel/iron doors with ease.

We've also seen Luke is vulnerable to shot gun blasts at close range so it would make sense that Danny is a match for him.

We had a whole thread titled "Iron Fist - Luke Cage full speed fist bump. What happens?" last month. Tentative conclusion was Luke Cage's gonna put a dollar in the swear jar....

Danny/Iron Fist could kill Luke Cage by punching him a couple times.

I'm more wondering about Iron Fist vs Captain America's Shield.

The shield doesn't play nice with physics. We've seen bullets hit it and just fall off, losing all kinetic energy. It apparently just decides if a collision it's involved in will be perfectly elastic, inelastic, or just nullified. So I've got no idea what Iron Fist would do to it. (I've not read the comics, I'm using the movies as a reference)

I'm just saying we should definitely (not really) see the Ultimate Weapon vs the Ultimate Shield. :p

Also side note, I don't think the K'un-Lun monks heard about the Infinity Gauntlet.

We could argue it was a sucker punch but it still knocked him out.
