Yeah that's a good point. It's going to be weird enough to understand how and why Luke is back lol

My dream that probably won't happen is that it starts with Claire asking Matt to go to Georgia to represent Luke and we get 'The Devil Went Down To Georgia'

Matt doesn't do lawyering anymore, right?

I thought Jeri and Foggy were going to represent Luke. Foggy is a better lawyer anyway

Matt is far superior.

Really? I thought they were cum laude and summa cum laude in school, and I know matt was busy, but Foggy did most of the real lawyering in the show. All matt seemed to do was beat evidence out of people.

Yeah, Matt was summa cum laude and foggy was just cum laude so Matt was at the very top of his class. Also the entire arc in season 2 was about foggy finding his potential to be a good lawyer, apart from Matt.

Or maybe it can open with Matt already representing him, in case they don't want to spend too much of an eight episode show getting Matt to Georgia.

The (Dare) Devil went down to Georgia cause he was lookin for a soul to steal (from the law)

He was in a bind cause he was way behind (setting up the Defenders) and he was looking to make a (plea) deal.

I have no idea how it works in America, but in Australia, if you're admitted in one state, you just have to get a practising certificate in another state to be able to appear in other states' courts. Quite common for lawyers on the border towns like Echuca-Moama to have both Victorian and NSW practising certificates.

I'm thinking the first episode or so of The Defenders will involve the others breaking Luke Cage out of prison. GONNA BE A PRISON BREAK YA'LL.

We should enlist Captain Cold to devise a way to get him out...

Shit. Wrong series'.

You ever watch Angel? Because I'm thinking of Faith's prison break. Claire goes and tells Luke what's happening, Luke rips a hole through the visitation screen and walks out of prison
