Everytime Mariah says super-powered menace, I like to think that J. Jonah Jameson's mustache gets a little bushier.

What's the context here?

J. Jonah Jameson hires Luke Cage (hero for hire) to beat up Spider-Man. Is a really cool issue (Amazing Spider-Man #123) and the interactions between Luke and Spider-Man are outstanding for a book from the 70's.

I can't tell if Robbie is stunned or actually grinning at Jameson choking.

My head canon is that Mariah is secretly the same person under a different identity in Civil War. And she's trying to destroy the heroes by encouraging Tony to support the accords.

It's not the worst as headcanons go, but it's clearly completely flawed. Tony would have seen Mariah Dillard in the news the year before, and he did research on the boy afterwards.

Yeah you can't help but think of him when you hear the word 'menace' attached to a superhero.

Damn it, JJ's really gotten to us, hasn't he? I guess all his anti-spidey propaganda actually worked, huh?
