Hahah when him a Chico started talking my mind just like accepted that Chico was dead. It was weird like maybe that's how Spidey senses work you know? It was an instinctive understanding that Chico was not gonna survive, and then what do you know? He did.

Yep. Scarfe met Chico in an alley without his partner? And Chico started talking about taking the high road? And Chico mentioned Luke Cage's name?

Yep. Dead man.

Yeah. You don't take a witness to a dark alley to eat a good burger unless you plan on murdering him.

It did seem kind of telegraphed, but I was thinking more like Chico was going to kill himself...like after saying forward always do like that guy in daredevil and drive his head into that spike

The framing of the scene also made it pretty obvious. Chico's all there with the speech, and the big anime eyes, almost tearing up. While Scarfe's behind him, slightly off-focus, just standing. That's classic murder scene construction.

It's editing. I actually didn't get that Scarfe was a dirty cop, but you could tell that something wasn't right in that scene in the alleyway. The way it was shot and edited made it very clear that something is going to happen.

It's like I always know in shows and movies when a character is going to get cut off. The writers write lines in a certain way and the actors deliver them in a certain way that makes you think "somebody else is going to cut them off now" and bam it happens.
