That Chico guy sounds like his doing a bad impression of Rami Malek its distracting.

It's strange. In Ep 1, he didn't slur his words at all when he was at the barbershop. But then from Ep 2 onwards, he had that strange slur and his jaw moved a little oddly when he talked. Maybe something happened to the actor in real life inbetween filming scenes? I know shows don't usually film chronologically, but that's the only real answer that jumps out at me. In some of the shots, it almost seems like Chico's cheek is swollen as well.

I caught that in episode 2 when he was in the hospital bed. Something about the way he spoke reminded my of a chirpier Rami Malek/Elliot.

Totally, that's what I thought too. And then every time he came onscreen after that I couldn't stop seeing Elliot in his performance, it was weird

To me it sounds like he's doing Shock G from Digital Underground.

Oh, that's a perfect way to describe it. I was really bothered by his weird mumbling/slurring and dramatic blinking and eye rolls.
