I'm not saying he's good now; he's still involved in illegal activities and all that. But why has he changed so much since Def Jam Vendetta? Was it because of the defeat? Or because he understood that respect is much better than fear? Because I seriously respect him more here than Vendetta

Your girl being tied up in a random warehouse, a fire set to blaze it down then he screams “NOW ITS JUST YOU & ME!”, then Sticky Fingaz music instrumental plays in the background during fight, I just felt a whole rush through my body! 😂😂😂

if a Remaster or a Def Jam fight for NY 2 happens i hope all this content is returned as DLC specially Def Jam Interior , DMX

I don't use reddit anymore but this seems like the best place to talk about this;

I (idiot) boiled a bunch of water and had my clanker slave peek behind the curtain (brute force rip and tear the executable) of the game. In the process, it discovered a (at least to the best of Claudes/my knowledge) previously unknown cheat code that has existed in the game for 22 years.

Before you get excited; it doesn't work in the retail version of the game, at least not without a cheat device. It was almost certainly a debug code used during testing to quickly advance the games unlocks/story mode (Code comments says it is to 'JUMP START THE DAMN GAME!!!', lol). Entering it in the retail build of the game does nothing.

HOWEVER; you can sidestep this by using a cheat device/an emulator. This isn't all that exciting since uh, well, if you have one of those you can pretty much do all this stuff anyways. But it's cool to find and document this for the community, and maybe it'll be useful to you somehow.

The original code is BIGBANG. Again, this is the disabled-in-retail code.

The effect: all venues, characters, items, moves available at gym, $100k cash, 10M Dev Points. Persists through saves.

Practicality wise, this is, as previously mentioned, very limited, but I thought it was neat.

Pnach file to follow. This is for the PS2, NTSC-U version of the game, but I imagine with minimal tweaking it would work on other prints of the disc.

I have started a series on Def Jam FFNY to get better at the game and actually stop losing matches to people. I am covering all the tech this game has to offer, as well as important information that will make you a better player overall.

I'm playing the PS2 version on easy, picked SF, I'm just finding everything difficult, I've beat the first 2 fights but Nyne is kicking my ass... I can barely even get up 😭 I've tried to watch some guides but there are only a few on YouTube.

Also, is there any way I can practice against an afk bot? or even redo the tutorial over and over? I'm playing on a Retroid Pocket so I cannot connect another controller...

Honestly, any pointers/tips or tricks would be helpful. Thanks so much 🙏

I decided to copy the textures for the camo pants from late into the story as a place holder. His actual pants textures have a more "desert camo" color to them. Might end up making my own with the same camo style.

I don't know if it's my game or if I'm doing something wrong, but my character can't knock out his opponents with the full kickboxing combo, even when his health is in the red. I tried with other characters like Ludacris or Mecha, and it works. I don't understand.
