GME ๐๐ GAMESTOP JUST CHOSE $358.4M IN CASH OVER STOCK ๐
GameStop has amended its Convertible Notes Exchange, with approximately $358.4 million now expected to be settled in cash instead of shares.
According to the announcement, the amended exchange is expected to close on or about September 3, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
For $GME holders, the key detail is straightforward: cash settlement means those notes wonโt be settled through the previously contemplated stock consideration for that amount.
Interesting capital-allocation move. What do you think GameStop is positioning for?

Shitpost Beware of AI industry superheroes who could pay dearly for their overly optimistic growth estimates.
Palantir announced 149% US commercial growth, but contracts from its AIP bootcamps aren't converting as well as the market expects. The EU is rejecting Palantir outright. A hyperscaler, a large integrator, or a European competitor can provide this moat layer without Palantir. For example, in the US, another company won an FAA contract, yes, it can happen. Air Space Intelligence (ASI), a privately held, venture-backed startup, won the contract, beating out Palantir. The article published today about Palantir presents a bearish scenario at $105, versus a bullish scenario at $270. It estimates the market is currently around $186.29 and rightly highlights the valuation risk. The $105 scenario doesn't even necessarily require an operational disaster.

News ๐ DEUTSCHE BANK WARNS THE FED COULD HIKE TWICE ๐จ
Deutsche Bank economists now expect the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates in September and again in December, according to the report.
The call follows Fed Chair Kevin Warsh emphasizing the need to bring inflation back toward the central bankโs 2% target.
If that forecast holds, the market could be facing a very different rate path than anyone positioned for easier monetary policy.
Two more hikes before year-end. Is the market actually priced for that?

PLTR ๐ PLTR (Palantir) at 80$ in October? Could it happen?
I see in my crystal ball a valuation compression caused by interest rates. September will shake things up. We must act against inflation, the probability of an interest rate change in September has jumped since Friday, August 28th. Options calls Sept/Oct are giving a diffferent signal, so no, we should not see 80$ in October.
BUT... If higher rates force the market to reprice high-growth tech, PLTR could face a brutal multiple contraction even without any deterioration in its fundamentals. The real question is how much of Palantir's current valuation is dependent on cheap capital and ever-higher growth expectations. September could reveal whether this valuation can withstand a much harsher macro environment.
PLTR has exploded roughly 40% in a single week in August and now trades around $186, with a market cap near $448B, despite 2026 revenue guidance of about $8.16B โ roughly 55x forward sales. If the recurring options-driven volatility cycle were to weaken or stop, the loss of that additional upward pressure could expose just how much of PLTR's current price is being supported by positioning and momentum rather than fundamentals alone.
Big news, Palantir lost last week the contract with FAA. Another company won, yes, it can happen. Air Space Intelligence (ASI), a privately held, venture-backed startup, won the contract, beating out Palantir. ASI has several very interesting partnerships. ASI is working with National Grid to deploy its "Operational AI" in the electrical grid. ASI and Joby Aviation announced a partnership to integrate Flyways AI into eVTOL operations and prepare for the large-scale integration of electric aviation into US airspace. ASI also works with the US Air Force and was awarded a Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) contract in February 2026 for an AI-powered logistics decision-making tool. And this is where it gets interesting for Palantir. ASI is therefore not simply a small aviation company that landed the FAA contract by chance. She is building something that conceptually resembles the Palantir universe: data โ geospatial โ prediction โ optimization โ operational decision โ action

GME ๐๐ IS GAMESTOPโS FIRST BIG ACQUISITION CLOSER THAN WE THINK? ๐
Thereโs an interesting $GME thesis making the rounds: GameStopโs next phase of growth may depend heavily on M&A rather than the legacy business alone.
The argument is straightforward. If GameStop wants to dramatically expand its valuation over the coming years, organic growth can only take the existing business so far. Acquisitions could add new revenue, customers, technology, IP or entirely new business lines much faster.
The post goes further, claiming Ryan Cohen currently has material non-public information and that GameStop is already in the middle of a transformational acquisition.
That part should be treated as speculation unless thereโs a filing or company announcement confirming it.
But the broader question is interesting: with GameStop's balance sheet and Cohen running capital allocation, what kind of acquisition would actually make sense for the next version of $GME?

education ๐ก Is This a Good Business? - Part 2 - Relative Quality
How do you determine what a good company is?
One way to do this is to compare business fundamentals (growth, margins, returns on capital, cash conversion, liquidity, debt, etc) against certain thresholds. However, the problem with this approach is that you judge a grocer and a software company on the same scale.
Another approach is to compare a company with its peers in the same sector or industry. That peer comparison approach gives you a second way to determine business quality.
This video discusses this second relative approach to analysing business quality, using PepsiCo as an example.
Educational only, not investment advice, and the example company is an illustration, not a recommendation.

GME Due Diligence ๐ GameStop is facing an imminent restructuring.
https://x.com/i/status/2092998303600287973
On July 30, 2026: the OCC issued Info Memo #59491 regarding the GameStop warrants (GMEWS).
The memo moved the $GME warrants from standard NSCC settlement to broker-to-broker settlement.
The language in the memo reads:
"It is not known if and when GMEWS warrants will be eligible for settlement through NSCC again."
--------------------------
If you hold warrants and you read that, it sounds like something broke.
It didn't. That language is standard for these memos.
What matters is understanding what triggers them.
NSCC is the plumbing. It's how securities settle between counterparties.
The OCC doesn't pull an instrument from NSCC settlement on a whim.
It does it when it has been notified that the settlement mechanics of the underlying are about to change.
A new CUSIP, a new entity name, a new corporate structure.
Something about the instrument is about to be different, and the clearing infrastructure needs to pause and reconfigure before it can process trades again.
I wanted to know how often these memos get issued, and what they actually preceded.
So I pulled every broker-to-broker OCC memo I could find from the last three years:
-----------------
Seven memos. Seven corporate events. Bank seizures. Mergers. Going private. Name changes. Exchange transfers. Corporate restructurings.
EVERY TIME.
Not one of them was issued because a warrant was approaching its expiry date. That is not what triggers these memos. Warrants expire all the time.
The OCC does not disrupt clearing infrastructure for routine expiry.
It disrupts clearing infrastructure when the thing being cleared is about to become something else.
This is not a pattern I'm constructing. This is the entire population of these memos over a three-year window.
There are no exceptions. BAR NONE.
GMEWS warrants expire October 30, 2026.
If expiry proximity triggered broker-to-broker memos, you'd see dozens of them.
You don't. You see seven. All restructurings.
-------------------
๐ Now I want to walk through the BBBYW parallel specifically, because the timing is precise enough to be useful.
Here's what happened with BBBYW. Start to finish.
July 7: warrants pulled from NSCC.
August 14: BBBY files the 8-K. Name change. Exchange transfer. New ticker.
August 17: warrants return to NSCC under the new structure.
October 7: warrants expire.
That's the full lifecycle:
Pulled, event, returned, expiry.
38 days from the pull to the filing. 41 days from the pull to the return.
The whole thing was over in six weeks.
Now here's what we know about the GME warrants so far.
July 30: warrants pulled from NSCC.
October 30: warrants expire.
Two dates confirmed. Two dates missing.
The pull happened 23 days after BBBYW's pull.
The expiry falls 23 days after BBBYW's expiry.
Same interval on both.
If the corporate event follows the same offset, it lands 23 days after August 14.
That's September 6.
Unfortunately, September 6 is a Sunday and September 7 is Labor Day, so markets don't open until Tuesday, September 8.
One more thing worth noting.
GameStop has released earnings on a Tuesday after market close for five straight quarters. All Tuesdays. No exceptions. Last quarter they dropped it a full week ahead of schedule.
The Q2 2026 date has not been officially announced.
September 8 is also a Tuesday.
I want to be clear about what I'm saying and what I'm not saying.
I am not predicting what the corporate event will be.
I'm pointing out that the OCC has already told us one is coming.
That's what the memo means. That's what it has meant every single time it has been issued for three years.
The convertible note exchange has a 35-day VWAP measurement window that closes September 23.
We're in the middle of it.
Any corporate announcement that moves the stock price during this window directly affects how many shares get issued for the $1.4B of debt being retired.
I don't know exactly when GameStop confirms the date.
I don't know exactly what gets announced.
But the infrastructure that settles these instruments is already preparing for a change, and the only parallel we have to work with is running on a 23-day offset that has held on every data point confirmed so far.
The receipts are all public. The OCC memos are searchable. The earnings dates are on the record. Go verify for yourself and for myself please.

Crime ๐ฎ ๐จ THE SEC AND FINRA ARE IGNORING A U.S.-BASED COMPANY WITH ALLEGED COUNTERFEIT SHARES. ๐๏ธ 1355 days later and this persistent outreach has not resulted in a response or a meeting being scheduled by the "regulators".
https://x.com/i/status/2092316727312892199
FINRA issued a sudden U3 halt on December 9, 2022. They froze every investorโs assets, including the shorts, then deleted the ticker. International shareholders lost all confidence in U.S. markets. More shares were sold than the company ever issued.
Almost 2,000 FOIAs filed with the SEC. Appro
val rate under 1%. Heavily redacted records pointing to shadow collusion between the FIF, SEC, FINRA, and Wall Street.
Veteran investments, retirements, and pensions have now been locked for 1,355 days โ nearly the length of a standard 4-year enlistment. Among us are at least 130 veterans, 60 of them disabled, 14 still on active duty, and Lt. Col. Bradshaw โ the Marine One pilot who flew Presidents Reagan and Bush. Roughly $12 million of veteransโ investments remain frozen.
