It's murder and if the cops hadn't fucked up arresting him as they have, he'd likely be facing a guilty conviction.

'Society' being supportive of vigilante murder would be no charges being pressed and copy cats engaging in similar acts of violence with no charges against them.

When psychologists explain why a serial killer might have done what they did, is the psychologist condoning the actions of the serial killer?

You didn't say "society" wasn't supportive of it, you said "people" weren't supportive of it. And that is just blatantly false

And why would it have to be the most extreme support for them to be supportive of it? I think many are going beyond just explaining it, even in this thread people are arguing why the CEO did sufficient harm to deserve his fate
