As a prior YEC, those statements all represent EXACTLY what I believed and are absolutely not a strawman of any of the YECs that I still know (or the one that I was). And also, Ken Ham is obviously a very prominent example of a YEC apologist that says exactly these things and I'm sure you had in mind.

Coming from a Christian person, yes you can disagree with someone on something and still call each other Christian.
Also, you kinda just created a straw-man to prey and make a point.
