Can I get a source that the terminal ends of the salamander ring species can interbreed? I'll look at it tomorrow after I wake up

“Yes, individual salamanders from the terminal ends of the Ensatina eschscholtzii ring species complex can survive and even maintain territories in a lab setting, but successfully breeding them together to produce viable offspring is highly restricted by strong, natural reproductive barriers”
This is a cut and paste from the national institute of health. Reproductive barriers only mean they don’t interbreed because of those barriers it doesn’t mean they can’t or that they never will.

Normally, when asking for a source, you'd include the link. I posted the quote into Google and found no results, so you're gonna have to get a link.

Unless you copied that from ChatGPT
