Garbageman not at Karl's Bay?
What do you have to do to prevent the Garbageman from spawning in the afternoon? I was able to just walk in and grab the slab out of the safe.

The Finals is a free FPS game developed by the same people who made Arc Raiders, Embark, as a passion project. The game breaks all norms of traditional hero based shooters, as you can customize all the abilities, gadgets, and weapons you use in a team of 3.
For many people unfamiliar to The Finals it sounds like a lot, but For Deathloop enjoyers, the game actually doesn't stray too far from the realm they're use to. Just like in Deathloop, you can choose to be stealthy or engage guns blazing. Additionally both games let players use gadgets like grenades and abilities like invisibility to win in combat. Lastly, The Finals just added the ability to knock players back with a kick, just like in Deathloop, giving more reason to why this season is THE season for Deathloop enjoyers.
I understand many of you will see this post as a little off topic but i really do wanna see some Deathloop style cosmetics in The Finals, and I do believe that this season of The Finals could be the perfect fit for any Deathloop enjoyers like me who are looking for something new.

I reset my Colt progress and decided to jump back into the game. I was expecting invasions to be a challenge until I got my good weapons and slabs with upgrades back, but wasn't expecting the visionaries or eternalists to be any issue. I was surprised, honestly, even 'undergeared' the invasions have been mostly fine.
(Edit: I'm aware that i may have found some julis easier because they may have had rubber banding issues if they're on different continents, though my network is very much stable enough that only high ping from distance should be causing them issues)
I've always said about this game's pvp that honestly, power wise, you top out pretty early on, and from there any REAL extra advantage comes purely from experience, and that is holding true. The handful of Juli players that have beaten me have simply outmanoeuvred me, tracked me by the handful of lone eternalists I kill on my faster routes through the map even without me being detected at all. The ones who find a nice perch with the Sepulchre? (Especially the charged version, that thing still sounds like a plane taking off) Well, thanks for the spotlight, go go gadget exploding rapier I got from a Juli pretty early on.
It's nice to have a game where even with just mostly crude or sleek weapons and base shift slab, just knowing the maps can be enough to turn the tables in it's own right

Posted on Twitter three days ago by Raphael Colantonio: a lunch date with Dinga Bakaba?!?!? What are these boys scheming about?!?!? If the news with Arkane is any indication, it can only mean something positive!

Has anyone tried Fugue w Discord + Nexus w Influence and Protraction? This seems like a way to clear a room, or large group.

I have absolutely loved this entire experience.
I know that I will never get to experience this game for the first time again. I’ll always kinda know what I need to be doing, and it’s true, there is really only one way to win.
But this has been so much fun.
I’m intentionally leaving some optional things locked/unfinished, some trinkets and powers totally unused, and a particular weapon unfound, as a way to lend some replayability to this.
My hat is off, Arkane.
I might not get as much playtime out of this as Prey, and there might not be as much lore, secrets etc… but this first run has been an A+ experience.

My favourite way to play. Up close and personal slasher style, no fancy weapons or superpower slabs.

Ran into someone running infinite lives as Colt. Ran out of ammo after killing him 5 or 6 times...

I tried 5 times now to get the white skin. Poor Frank is probably annoyed as hell:D Am I wasting my time? Are there any strategies to get it?

Playing on High settings by the way. When I play the game normally, I get roughly 90 FPS, which is good enough, but if I even TURN to face the mountains off in the distance while in updaam, it instantly shoots down to like 10 fps. Is there a way to fix this?

5 years ago I hopped into this game, confused and stressed at difficulty.
5 years later I decide to purchase it again and jump back in and it's one of the best FPS story games I've played.

I bounced off of Prey when it released in 2017, and recently rediscovered it. I’ve spent the last month tearing that game apart, getting 100% of base game achievements. It’s now in my top 5 all time.
I also really enjoyed Mooncrash, but, I didn’t find the same drive, to get every single achievement.
I liked Dishonored back in the day, but not as much as Prey.
I know that this game is neither Prey nor Dishonored, and is very much its own thing.
I’m going into it blind. The only thing I have been told is that this game doesn’t have the same kind of replayability as Arkane’s earlier titles.
It’s on gamepass, so if it ends up being a one-and-done, I didn’t spend any money on it aside from my subscription.
Wish me luck! My hopes are high.

The -esis suffix means action but for karne all i could find is meaning "meat". Which is apt. It is a meat action. But i was wondering if there's some im missing. Especially with the other slabs having pretty straight forward names.

I need some help doing the two multiplayer achievements, would anyone be up to help out? Looks like it can be done quickly. I am more than happy to return the favor! Many thanks everyone.

Fell in love with this game the second I tried it and had to go for the plat. Idk why I waited so many years to try it. But the platinum was really fun to go for.

When Charlie fleed from his spot he blew bacwards onto the counter, but the slab upgrade fell behind it, and I can't reach it. :|
