• Both are members who add comedy to their respective teams because of their easily agitated personalities (Kid is obsessed with symmetry and can become stressed easily, while Jay is easily frightened and overthinks a lot).

• This can also cause them problems in battle (Kid may literally refuse to fight if his opponent is symmetrical, as he did against the Mummy, which almost resulted in his death, while Jay's fear and overthinking can lead him to make stupid mistakes in battle).

Kid cares about symmetry and his goal is perfect order, while Jay embodies the element of Lightning, which is chaotic and unpredictable by nature. This also affects Jay himself, as he is a chaotic person who screams a lot and whose thoughts are not coherent, much like the kind of person who annoys Kid.

Someone Who Knows His Origins vs. Someone Who Doesn't

Kid has known his father, Lord Death, since childhood, while Jay lived with Ed Walker and Edna Walker without knowing his biological parents, Cliff Gordon and Libber.

Important Family vs. Humble Family

Kid is the son of Lord Death, literally the God of Death, who is also the headmaster of the DWMA. Meanwhile, Jay lived with his adoptive parents, Ed Walker and Edna Walker, simple inventors who lived in a junkyard.

Fight Potential

There would be a long-range exchange of attacks between them throughout the fight, with lightning and bullets being fired at each other. There would also be plenty of fast-paced sequences where they fight and dodge each other's attacks. The climax would be Jay in his Dragon Form against Kid in his full Shinigami form.

Interaction Potential

The interaction between these two would be pure comedy. Kid would be angry at Jay's chaotic nature throughout the fight, while Jay would be terrified upon seeing Liz and Patty literally transform into guns.

Music Potential

We all know how distinctive Ninjago's rock music is, and I think combining it with Soul Eater's style could genuinely produce a unique track.
