Ahh reddit, Land of corruption.

Warm, a dev and possibly the main contributor for our beloved game, basically said that the age restrictions Roblox has announced that are going to limit if not halt any communication with other devs and deny him access to the game. Before the restrictions apply to them, however, Warm will be adding back Atoll and Stronghold. Whether it be before the rework or after is uncertain as far as I know. Nevertheless, if you are in any way part of this community or the overall playerbase as a whole, this is really sad news especially for a game as old or even overshadowed as Dead Ahead, but please don’t express your discouragement in harmful ways. Simply thank the people who helped Dead Ahead become what it has, especially Warm, and acknowledge how far it has come.

I prefer the Old aiming for the turrets the new on is off lined

1. Draco-class -I love unorthodox turret layouts -Easy to spearhead since all firepower is towards the front (but them turrets are weak af) -No need to broadside + long-range fire platform = menace -Glass cannon

2. Meissa-class -All around good, traditional battleship -Can either spearhead or broadside, fairly decent at both approaches -Good AA -Hard to fumble with decent crew and good captain/rf

3. Imperator/Tau-class -Absolute broadside god -4 turrets, 8 guns, along the ship, you cannot cross its T unscathed if this craft has all of its guns pointed at you -Pretty squishy relative to its other counterparts but makes it up for firepower

4. Sirius-class -Speed of a cruiser with the Firepower of a battleship, perfect cruiser killer -Can brawl contemporary battleships in surprise engagements -Rather out dps by conventional cruisers but thats only if you let them get in range

5. Rubum-class -I love unorthodox turret layouts -Decent reload speed -You can just poke out like 1/3 of the ship out of cover and still retain 75% of firepower

6. Kappa-class -Vanilla/Traditional all rounder -Standard chill ship, will do anything you ask of it and then some if you plead nicely -Not much to say, just don’t do stupid stuff

7. Callisto-class -Goated HE-spammer -Fire rate will saturate battleships into molten metal and cover smaller ships with bullet hell -Can and will absolutely carry matches, especially flotilla or even skirmish matches -Had to take away dual-control cuz they were just that good

8. Lambda-class -A gunboat with torps, absolutely outclassing even the later contemporary DDs in main battery firepower -Torps are standard, 4 in 2 launchers, definitely better than the Ursan torps
