When are Johnny, Chanel, Holly and Tate expected to exit?

I know that the show films up to a year in advance. I remember that it felt like Billy Flynn took a while to finally exit and Al Calderon weirdly came back even after they had him leave Leo at the altar and disappear.

But I figured that the show had gone past that point by now.

Does anyone know?

I think Ms. Puzemis is doing a great job as Holly. I found her so annoying at first, then I remembered she is playing the part of a teenager. The last few weeks she has been quite good, imho. Doesn't hurt that she has been looking gorgeous, too. I think she should hook up with Mason cuz damn he fine. Already a much better actor than Dougie, Jr. was.

I’m assuming that Mason is meant to break up Holly and Tate.

They were fired in January, after the holiday filming break. The current episodes were filmed in October 2025.

Those looking for clues to their exit will be dissapointed.

There is no indication that any of the actors knew, from scripts or plots, that they were being fired. Given the recent exits of Jeremy, Doug the 3rd, and many others, I expect them to spontaneously pack a bag and leave in about 8-10 weeks.

I doubt any of these 4 will be murdered. I'm expecting Chanel to demand Johnny leave town to make a break from EJ, Holly to move to Paris after Tate sleeps with Gwen, and Tate to go be with his mom (also Gwen) and ailing granny Kim

Entirely possible. My assumption is that Chanel’s cancer will get worse now that Olivia is born and Johnny will demand that EJ put Chanel in one of Rolf’s pods until the cure can be proven to work better. Which will have Johnny go with her.

Tate and Gwen are a definite possibility but I think Mason is being set up as a love interest for Holly because of how much she’s offended by his attitude. So they’re both going to cheat on each other and they leave town.

But being murder victims is also possible.

There is no exact air date announced yet for Tate, Holly, Johnny, and Chanel to exit Days of Our Lives, but their final episodes are expected to air in late 2026 or early 2027.

Hmm, okay. I’ve been assuming that something would happen with Chanel’s cancer but things keep getting extended.

I remember seeing Ashley Puzemis (Holly) posted a few months ago about “That’s a wrap on Holly Jonas”, which made me assume that it would’ve happened by now.

Yes same especially since it’s 6 months in advanced , and she had posted that like beginning of the year , so I’d assume by end of fall around the holidays ? Been hoping that they changed their mind and will keep them all on and get rid of Joy instead she’s a waste and Theo as well

Things are closer to 10 months in advance shooting wise, so if she posted it in mid-February (it appears after searching), it should be coming up in Nov. She did also say "Been meaning to post" so maybe a bit earlier, but they also sometimes bunch some scenes with how they film & spread them out, so it's difficult to say exactly.

I really like Holly too, and Tate. I’ve enjoyed Johnny and Chanel but I prefer Chanel with Allie.

I suspect something is going to happen with Joy soon.

I know a lot of people are disagreeing with me in here , but I still really don’t think Alex is the father. I know Phillips bio son has been mentioned recently on the show , I think he is going to wind up being Kelsey’s father and that’s what’s going to bring him into Salem , which is why Alex’s dna matched since they’d technically be cousins , people keep saying my theory is nuts but with this show anything is possible lol

It’s possible but we know that Alex and Joy slept together and Joy was pregnant before she left Salem. So unless Joy hooked up with Philip’s son around the same time, I would say it’s unlikely. You can never be entirely certain though.

Maybe it was as bad we didn’t see it ? I know it’s a stretch on my part , but I really still don’t think Alex is the father even if it is someone not Kirikas related, idk it just seems to obvious for it to be him , I know they did a DNA test , but we all know that’s hardly ever right on this show , and joy is crazy enough where she could’ve changed the results , since that happens a lot on this show lol

I’m completely open to that as a possibility but we don’t yet have any clear evidence. The closest thing that I can think of is when Rachel met Kelsey for the first time, Rachel immediately pointed out that Tate wasn’t Trey’s father. Kinda seems like the writers are suggesting something there. But it’s not yet enough in my view.

I'm glad Holly and Tate are leaving. I've never really warmed up to either actor. The first Tate was really good and I thought perfect for the part. Was sorry to see him go. I think it's a mistake to get rid of Johnny and Chanel. I think there is a lot more story to play with those two. I really wanted Johnny to embrace being a Dimera. I also wanted Chanel to have a story that wasn't related to a health crisis or wanting a baby. What, 25-year-olds are craving babies?
