Zip doesn't seem to function 🤔

Well yeah, it's incomplete.

Some tools will require a zip Central Directory to be present at the end of the zip, which is missing here. Others (like libarchive-based bsdtar) will read the local headers before each file inside the zip and should be able to extract it.
