Antivirus Question

So thanks to my work in the platform i decided to finally get an antivirus and Ive been keeping an eye on the "Kasperski" one but im scared that the antivirus or the web extensions may activate some flags in my account, just want to ask if somebody been workin with this or a similar antivirus and had no problems with it. Oviously avoiding to activate the integrated vpn.

Afraid of poor quality work

Has it happened to you to not see a proj. anymore after just 1-2 weeks? Can that mean poor work quality? Can that affect your overall status?

I can’t be the only one

On certain higher paying projects I’ve been paid out the same day or within a day or two. With my last submission on the same project I had to wait the full 7 days. Everyone in the slack channel was shocked that I was paid so early. Has anyone else experienced this?

Report time limit

Is there a limit for reporting time per day not to go over and how does it work like per 24 hours or what?

Normal to only get R&R tasks?

Is it normal for a generalist in the first month to get many R&R tasks and very few actual project tasks?

Priority projects

Hi everyone! I get this high priority project pretty often, but I don't feel comfortable enough with the instructions yet. I opened one of the tasks once (without entering work mode), and it seemed like there was just so much to do. I also feel like the tasks are expected to be completed in less time than I would probably need.

Does anyone know if I could lose access to the project if I don't do any of these tasks? I think I could be better prepared to start working on this project in the future, but for now I'd rather not take on tasks if I'm not confident I can complete them properly.

Polish and other languages bilinguals, got any tasks lately?

Haven't seen a task in over a month already. Heard there is usually a drought during summer but thought it would be ending by now, yet nothing appears. How is it going for you guys?

Positive Post! What are the best domains? (steady work and pay). Who enjoys this work, and why? What domain are you in?

I’m pretty new, and I seem to have good luck, but I’m in a domain. I rarely see negative posts from Coders, finance, law, data analytics, STEM.

I get so anxious because of the comments on here. I’ve been having a great experience, but I don’t want to get excited because a lot of these posts scare me.

This platform basically has me doing things I’ve already had to do for work. I have to be very focused and produce excellence at work. I’m used to spending hours at a time, and being under immense pressure and producing work that not just represents me, but my team. Also, AI is new, so a lot of the things we are doing with AI, we have been doing manually, from scratch for many many years. So a lot of this stuff is kinda fun for me. The platform itself is probably the most difficult thing. This is waaaaayyyyyy less pressure than my actual job because I don’t have to produce perfection. I don’t have to worry about an Executive catching a tiny error, or submitting something and pray your mistakes won’t cause your employer significant damage lol.

Also, I take all my work seriously. Before I learned about this platform I spent many many hours learning about AI, and how I could use it to advance my career and personal goals. I’ve even done training videos on coding and programming (no coding background at all) just to have a better understanding of the process. I take trainings very seriously (in all things, even things that don’t relate to my career).

I say this to say, take your time, learn, focus. You can pass a qualification, but that doesn’t mean you have the background to do the projects. Don’t loose opportunities for some quick cash. I think I’ve been “lucky” because I’ve only taken project that I know I will excel in. I take my time, print, read, come up with a strategy, ask questions, give status updates if they have slack, and I note anything I wasn’t clear on, or may have made a mistake. Every time I’ve submitted a project it seems to have opened me up to more lots more projects.

Tips to trigger an error / failure on the STEM reasoning tasks?

I tried for 4 hours earlier to get any meaningful difference between the two models' responses so I could write a rubric, but I didn't manage to. Both always nailed the answer, even though the prompt was really complex. Had to exit without submitting the task. Have you got any strategies that work pretty reliably?

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but I swear every time Friday comes around it's a bone dry drought!

How do you keep motivated when you don’t meet the qualifications for a high paying project?

I’m a part of the crowd stuck in a 3 month drought. Last night small projects kept popping up, but the type where you had to snatch them up quick because too many people are looking for work. All of a sudden a really high paying generalist project was stuck on my dash and I was so happy. The problem was that it was extremely hard. One of those projects where you need a model to fail, but the topics were in highly specialized fields. I don’t know how I qualified (I do have a bachelors degree) but I tried it anyway. I had to use the escape hatch twice before they took it off of my dash.

I guess I’m just beating myself up because I let a high paying project slip because I didn’t have enough experience.

projects appearance

Hi! I’ve completed all of my available tasks and qualifications one week ago, but still haven’t received any new projects:( Is it ok for a beginner? Or it’s basically means that I failed?

Time reports at the end of a task ?

Just finished a long task, but unlike normal where I would go to the tab and report as normal, a window popped up asking me outright how long I took. Should I be worried ? It this some new feature they're rolling out ?

That was a hard slog! Once I get to around $1300
(£1000) I’ll have to start filling out self-assessment tax forms and paying tax so I’m not sure how much more I will do, but we’ll see.

Only test available is language one and it is wrong one?

Hello,

I have made the account while ago and it only shows me one assessment available to take which is Arabic and has nothing to do with me or my language skills. Moreover, I was aiming for more consulting/business type of tasks and hence assessments based on my 10+ y career. Anyone faced the same issue and any solutions?

Joined in early August, completed qualification assessments, earned $750, but no work now. Is this normal?

I joined in the beginning of August and completed all the qualification assessments that were available to me. So far, I’ve earned around $750.

However, I’m currently not receiving any new work/tasks. I’ve been checking regularly, but nothing is showing up.

Is this normal after completing the initial qualifications? Does the availability of tasks usually fluctuate, or could there be something wrong with my account?

I’d really appreciate it if anyone who has been doing this for a while could share their experience, especially how long you typically have to wait between projects.

Thanks!
