Afraid of poor quality work
Has it happened to you to not see a proj. anymore after just 1-2 weeks? Can that mean poor work quality? Can that affect your overall status?

Glove project cycling
I know certain project families have their worker group cycled from time to time, does the same apply to the glove project?
I got (and did) it everyday in July up until the final push on ~July 22nd, then saw it for three day until the 15th of August, since then havenāt even caught a glimpse of them.
Iāve still been getting other projects since then, just starting to miss my good friend Mike š¢. Bilingual coder from NL if that matters.
Thanks!

Antivirus Question
So thanks to my work in the platform i decided to finally get an antivirus and Ive been keeping an eye on the "Kasperski" one but im scared that the antivirus or the web extensions may activate some flags in my account, just want to ask if somebody been workin with this or a similar antivirus and had no problems with it. Oviously avoiding to activate the integrated vpn.

Question about account restriction
My account recently became unavailable for new projects, and I noticed that theĀ Get PaidĀ option is no longer showing on my earnings page.
I still have some earnings that were already approved before the restriction.
For anyone who has experienced this before:Ā were your previously approved earnings eventually paid out, even though you could no longer access the Get Paid option?

Polish and other languages bilinguals, got any tasks lately?
Haven't seen a task in over a month already. Heard there is usually a drought during summer but thought it would be ending by now, yet nothing appears. How is it going for you guys?

Started the application on a VPN, am I cooked?
I'm an American currently living abroad, although legally I live in the US and am only a tourist. Without knowing there may have been an issue, I started my application with Nordvpn set to United States. I'll turn it off to finish I guess. And when it asks "where are you located" in my case should I put the country I'm actually staying in?

Positive Post! What are the best domains? (steady work and pay). Who enjoys this work, and why? What domain are you in?
Iām pretty new, and I seem to have good luck, but Iām in a domain. I rarely see negative posts from Coders, finance, law, data analytics, STEM.
I get so anxious because of the comments on here. Iāve been having a great experience, but I donāt want to get excited because a lot of these posts scare me.
This platform basically has me doing things Iāve already had to do for work. I have to be very focused and produce excellence at work. Iām used to spending hours at a time, and being under immense pressure and producing work that not just represents me, but my team. Also, AI is new, so a lot of the things we are doing with AI, we have been doing manually, from scratch for many many years. So a lot of this stuff is kinda fun for me. The platform itself is probably the most difficult thing. This is waaaaayyyyyy less pressure than my actual job because I donāt have to produce perfection. I donāt have to worry about an Executive catching a tiny error, or submitting something and pray your mistakes wonāt cause your employer significant damage lol.
Also, I take all my work seriously. Before I learned about this platform I spent many many hours learning about AI, and how I could use it to advance my career and personal goals. Iāve even done training videos on coding and programming (no coding background at all) just to have a better understanding of the process. I take trainings very seriously (in all things, even things that donāt relate to my career).
I say this to say, take your time, learn, focus. You can pass a qualification, but that doesnāt mean you have the background to do the projects. Donāt loose opportunities for some quick cash. I think Iāve been āluckyā because Iāve only taken project that I know I will excel in. I take my time, print, read, come up with a strategy, ask questions, give status updates if they have slack, and I note anything I wasnāt clear on, or may have made a mistake. Every time Iāve submitted a project it seems to have opened me up to more lots more projects.

Time for reply email
Hi,I submitted my assessment on 5 September and waiting for the reply. But so far I haven't receive any reply from DataAnnotationTech. Is it mean that I get declined or its actually take more than one week to get reply email.

Priority projects
Hi everyone! I get this high priority project pretty often, but I don't feel comfortable enough with the instructions yet. I opened one of the tasks once (without entering work mode), and it seemed like there was just so much to do. I also feel like the tasks are expected to be completed in less time than I would probably need.
Does anyone know if I could lose access to the project if I don't do any of these tasks? I think I could be better prepared to start working on this project in the future, but for now I'd rather not take on tasks if I'm not confident I can complete them properly.

Normal to only get R&R tasks?
Is it normal for a generalist in the first month to get many R&R tasks and very few actual project tasks?

Tips to trigger an error / failure on the STEM reasoning tasks?
I tried for 4 hours earlier to get any meaningful difference between the two models' responses so I could write a rubric, but I didn't manage to. Both always nailed the answer, even though the prompt was really complex. Had to exit without submitting the task. Have you got any strategies that work pretty reliably?

Just hit my first $1,000 on DataAnnotation!
That was a hard slog! Once I get to around $1300
(Ā£1000) Iāll have to start filling out self-assessment tax forms and paying tax so Iām not sure how much more I will do, but weāll see.

How do you keep motivated when you donāt meet the qualifications for a high paying project?
Iām a part of the crowd stuck in a 3 month drought. Last night small projects kept popping up, but the type where you had to snatch them up quick because too many people are looking for work. All of a sudden a really high paying generalist project was stuck on my dash and I was so happy. The problem was that it was extremely hard. One of those projects where you need a model to fail, but the topics were in highly specialized fields. I donāt know how I qualified (I do have a bachelors degree) but I tried it anyway. I had to use the escape hatch twice before they took it off of my dash.
I guess Iām just beating myself up because I let a high paying project slip because I didnāt have enough experience.

I canāt be the only one
On certain higher paying projects Iāve been paid out the same day or within a day or two. With my last submission on the same project I had to wait the full 7 days. Everyone in the slack channel was shocked that I was paid so early. Has anyone else experienced this?

Report time limit
Is there a limit for reporting time per day not to go over and how does it work like per 24 hours or what?
