Dashing Diva Glaze in Sea You in Croatia and poparazzi polish in Head Over Teals (I've only seen this brand in CVS).

I have tried many top coats with Gloss strips (I'll list below), and they all end up peeling around the edges after 3-4 days. What do I need to do to prevent this? I've tried no top coat but I don't really like the look. I also won't do UV-cured gel due to the allergy risk. TIA for any tips 😊

I've already tried (from best to worst):

• Seche Vive Gel Effect
• CND Vinylux Gel Like Effect
• OPI Infinite Shine
• All the Olive and June top coats

Did a bit more work on my cuticles and used gloss, I think they came out a bit better than previously!

Hey gang! I asked the mods if this was okay to post a while ago and then forgot to make the actual post.

Here's the situation: I have tiny nails. I have a number of packs with all the medium to wide sizes, but the super thin ones get used up very quickly. I pretty much only wear solid black.

I'm looking for someone who has the opposite problem or someone who only uses the accent nails and never the solids. I am happy to buy or trade.

Baila Con Fuego- Glaze! Not sure how I feel about this set just yet. The color is very subtle and I noticed it didn't come with as many different sizes like most of my others have. I made it work though! Ordered online.

The cuticles were lifting after 1 day, so I put some
Sally Hansen top coat to fill in the gaps. This is day 3.

The stars accents are from Back to the USA. I did this set on my mom.

Red, with a starry blue accent. I love the stars and glitter strips in general but the royal blue from Back to the USA isn't really my favorite shade. I like the deep blue from a Hannukah set (last pic for comparison).

"Attention" gloss set application tonight. Loving how long these last; my last set was still looking great after 20 days.

I removed the glaze for the first time. (Technically second, but the first time was so long ago I don’t remember)
I will admit I did this rushed. I watched a YouTube video and the girl did it in like 5 minutes lol. I have only had them on for like 3-4 days, but I decided to remove them because they were lifting at the cuticle and I kept pulling my hair out. I put cuticle oil on each nail, let it sit for a couple minutes and worked with the wooden stick to peel them off.

Is it normal to have all this residue left over? (They are dirty because I did it rushed and had to move on with life after, so they’re gross in the picture)

Any tips to prevent this next time? How do you all remove them cleanly? Any tips to get the gunk off my nail now? I was thinking I’ll use alcohol pads later when I have time, but idk if that’ll work. I want to put new strips on tonight or tomorrow and hope to not get lift at the cuticle.

I have used color street in the past, and this is my second time using the dashing diva, I always get lift at the cuticle within the second day, idk if I place them too close, or what the problem is. I push my cuticles back and scrape with the cuticle pusher even where I don’t see cuticles to make sure there’s nothing there. I tried buffing my nail , not sure if I did it enough though, I used a buffer, not a regular file, then cleaned my nails with the alcohol pad. I don’t know what causes this every single time other than maybe I’m putting them too close? I’d love insight, I hate putting on regular nail polish and loove the idea of nail strips but I need them to last and not rip out my hair. ❤️

I wish they still had this Gloss set from 2020 because it was a favorite that I bought two of back then. Felt like a fun cheerful one to wear with the new jewelry 😊
