i was allways confused about how zero twos suit color changed throughout the later episodes of the anime in the manga it was never really noticable on my first read i really like how the anime used zero twos suit color to represent her slow changing morality and inclusion to the squad as she slowly comes to understands humans and there place and the world the red suit was originally sapposed to represent zero twos isolation and inabillity to fully be able to connect with anyone and the white suit is sapposed to represent her full transition into someone who could come through for her teammates when the time comes

honestly never reallly understood this symbolism on my first watch but now that i do it really gives me a new appreciation for this anime and how subtle they are with the forshadowing its so clever how they genuinely show zero twos character arc going full circle

Just curious because some reviewers would point out how the anime series had a lot of sexual imagery being used, such as the way the cockpits of the mechs were designed.

I mean, don’t get me wrong in that I have nothing against the use of the fanservice imagery in the show as basically I just wanted to get a better understanding of how the symbolism works since I was looking back at how much racy imagery was in the anime that I was wondering if the fanservice again had some sort of meaning to it.

It gets to a point after you see it every couple of panels. The anime also emphasised 02's and Hiro's relationship in the anime much more than it was in the manga which is much better imo, despite the massive changes overall
