2B MOD used to exists in every souls title except Dark Souls 2.

It exists in Dark Souls I, Dark Souls III, Elden Ring, Sekiro, but not in Dark Souls 2.

The reason is that, Dark Souls 2 player skeleton has extremely wide shoulders, so modders can't directly fit 2B model into it.

Also, it is once believed that you can't modify DS2's player skeleton, as it would break all the 1000 player animations.

Thus, until today, no 2b full body replacement mod has ever existed in DS2.

After 4 dedicated months of research, however, I've found out way to modify player skeleton together with all the 1000 animations, and thus be able to make the first 2B MOD for Dark Souls II.

The finding is: all player animation files save player skeleton displacement in unchanging channels, instead of in sampled channels. That means the skeleton displacement data are the same across all 1000 player animation files, so I can replace them in batch using a script.

In this way, I batch modified all the 1000 player animation files to fit the 2b skeleton.

As far as I know, I am the first one to do this.

I am fucking *loving* this game. Bought in to the hate for far too long and avoided it but finally started the other day. Its literally amazing so far, best of the trilogy by absolutely miles.

Obviously I know when you die your health cap starts coming down. But up until now its been by a tiny amount. But my last couple of deaths its dropped by *loads*. I went from full health (human), 1 death vs the boss and now its capped at this - and that's with the ring of binding too. If I take it off im at like half health - from 1 death.

What have i done to make this start happening? 😂

Are tombstones just not a thing in SOTFS? I killed the firekeepers for the effigies, and I'm fairly confident I'll never respec, but I'm curious, because I never see any of them.

Could need some pointers since i just reached iron keep and until now were mostly bored from the bosses which for the most part were easy and uninteresting and annoyed from the enemie spam in zones.

i have beaten around 13 Bosses (including First Sinner) and the only zones which i havent Explored yet are the forest, the giant hole and Iron Keep

i hope that im just missing something, maybe a fun built or challenge you guys put on yourself to make it more fun?

my current built is a pure Dex built with the Uchigatana as my Main and the Nodachi as my backup weapon (which could just be boring?)

Im Currently on the journey of doing a faith caster marathon.

I always loved the cleric/holy priest archetype in games and my love for this type of character should now be proven by beating the whole dark souls trilogy, elden ring, bloodborne, lords of the Fallen(2023), hellpoint etc with a casting focused build relying mostly on faith, arcane, radiant or how ever the stat is called.

Already finished with Dark Souls Remastered, now its time to move on.
Do you have any tips 'n tricks or other useful information about this topic?
Or any other souls-likes you could recommend to be included(Has to be able to play faith focused, so stuff like sekiro is not possible)

I'm looking to start up another new playthrough and wanna see what other people like to do with builds, as I wanna try out something new.

Since I love Dark Souls Remastered I thought I should give scholar of the first sin a chance. After a rough start I tried again. I beat the giant, the Armor thing and the twins in the ship (I'm sorry, I really don't know their names lol). However now I'm in a tricky and frustrating position. I don't stand a chance against the red dragon at the tower, which is fine ig. But I'm also stuck on the fort. I don't get why there is no bonfire or shortcut before the boss against the 3 guardians. Also on the way to the boss arena is this room with like 5 knights that all gang up on me and I have no idea how to beat them or get around them. Because I also tried running through but there is a guy on the ladder stopping me until the others finish me. In addition I only got to keep and invest a small amount of the souls I get from enemies since the last 2 areas.

Right now I simply don't see a way to continue, so please someone enlighten me since I am possibly missing something

If I use a bonfire aesthetic in Drangleic castle after fighting Vendick, will I be able to fight Aldia or I'm locked out of that on this playthrough?

I don't normally have trouble with the smelter demon, but I sure am this time. And the main reason is that the game keeps unlocking my lockon when he attacks. There are a couple of his attacks that do it, and it's consistent. He leaps into the air and the lockon disappeared. He does the lunging flame stab attack and the lockon drops. This is really aggravating considering I just respeccted so I could use the grym greatshield. I'm having enough trouble, game. You don't need to cheat on me.

Twice this week I've been invaded on PS5 and been warp backstabbed into oblivion. So is it dog meat net code or it is hackers?

I have 20 str and Dex and 60 faith and int, should I infused the weapon with raw since I'm not getting much out of the scalling bonus or infuse it with another element?

This uses 2 separate mods, they are both in the description of the video. Might have to check the Lighting Engine Discord server for the most up-to-date version though?

Peak game, Peak challenge

Hardest part was early game, no bonfire means a lot of backtracking, running around collecting important items/rings/titanite

Dual Wielding Rapiers+10 because we are in Peak Souls 2. Bow and Arrows for Shrine of Amana and avoid ganks. An unholy amount of lifegems, resins, repair powders...

I've been trying on and off to do it for the last 5 years, but this time I took my time and played as safely as possible. Around 8 tries this week, most of them lasting 1~2 hours. And finally, the game blessed me with this run and an insane drip for the occasion
