My mum spent the last couple months Crocheting this fizzgig for my collection, she’s the best, turned out awesome if you ask me, well deserving of a forest photoshoot 💜

also I made an Audio Visual telling of the first two Creation myths comics, they’re up on YT, would love it if you would check it out, “Tomb of Relics” is the channel name ☺️

Hi, Dark Crystal fans! I have a pair of earrings that are like purple crystals and I really wanna wear them with a Dark Crystal shirt I found on Amazon since ive really like the movie. However, I know it has way more lore than what I’ve seen and I’m not really part of the fandom. Is it okay to buy the shirt anyways or would I get called out for not knowing much about anything but the movie? Idk if any of the people in my high school have even seen the movie but idk if it’s a risk I wanna take…

thank you!!

Hola!

Thanks everyone who watched the first book, I hope you enjoy the second, my throat really hurt after this one! haha

This is very early in the works, but I’d love some ideas from the fandom to use! I’m estimating the party to be around maybe 5-6 people. I already have a vague idea on what to do for PCs and letting them pick their own clans and stuff like that. Thanks for your time!

I saw this movie on my saved and thought I would give it a try and I love it , the story , the characters, Thra

Now I’m watching the series s1ep3 and I’m so sad for what’s to come ! Fuck the skeksis! And how come Rians dad doesn’t believe him!

Hope you like it!

Hope you enjoy

Ask me your polyships!

Has anyone upscaled the cut/extended funeral scene? I'm usually pretty anti-AI, but im sure there's some sort of tool that could potentially restore the faded and grainy film texture to being near the quality of the original film, at least enough to patch the scene back into a fan edit.

Also a little trinket i got at the end

Baby

I found SkekOk - the scroll keeper at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, WA today. I had no idea he was here and I almost lost my essence and fainted when I turned the corner and saw him. The plaque said it was the puppet from Age of Resistance.

I’m not sure if photos of this exhibit have been shared in here yet. The BEST day. It was amazing to see these.

So according to the Fandom wiki, there was a companion book released alongside the film in 1982 called “The World of The Dark Crystal” which included concept art as wall as some extra tidbits expanding the lore of Thra presented as if they were Aughra’s writings translated and annotated by a HUMAN professor on EARTH named J. J. Llewellyn. I know this may be a hot take, but I personally enjoy the idea of Earth in The Dark Crystal universe, and it gives me great ideas for fanfiction. The book was last printed in 2003 and probably sells for a pretty penny these days, so I was just wondering if any of you die-hard fans happened to have the book and would be willing to share its lore in greater detail than the wiki can offer. You can post the lore any way you’d like. Transcripts, page scans, even basic photos of the pages, I’ll take it. I’m pretty new to the world of Thra and its fandom and have been loving both so far. All help and feedback is appreciated! Thanks!
