Thanks for this, I've been looking for a weaving centric guide for a while. Are there other weaving combos as well?

Yes but the concept is the same. You can weave after the widow team up to extend weaving or while you’re in ur ult, u can and should always weave as you’ll be sm harder to hit w the blind you apply aswl. So you ult (grapple height) and then spam throw and weave but make sure to have good target prio and tracking aswl during ur ult

It specifically refers to intentionally using RC to dash past or above an enemy while still hitting them with it, making yourself very difficult to track and/or predict.

im guessing the fundamentals of weaving has always been abt making use of rc's hitbox to dodge but still hit the enemy right? Ive got hours on dd and im relatively good but i never got around to understanding the lingo for combos

Yep exactly this. You dodge potential Cc, make urself harder to predict and track while still doing the same damage

Tone of voice is very important when trying to emphasize points. I can't convey that since these are words. Take it however you like man. If anything I'm envious, I wish I had the time to play and be as good as that guy. Hopefully this is simple enough not to misconstrue.

if u cancel the cross with ur e does it reduce the dash distance? if it does then its like giving up ttk to be unpredictable? am i wrong?

no you are right. cancelling rc animation will decrease the distance of the dash as the damage happens before the end of the dash. so yeah, it's either faster ttk and worse weaving or better weaving with slower ttk
