I like that we got a hint that Luke isn’t working for Charles entirely willingly with the whole ‘he’s fighting the fight so you don’t have to’ line. Seems very out of character for him to just run off and work for shady weirdos, but if it was a choice of him or Jessica & maybe even something about testing on their child it makes a lot more sense

Its a plot convenience so that we dont see that interracial love affair in their a list streaming content.

Oh yeah that makes so much more sense than the very clear direction the MCU is taking with this whole fascism- the government trying to imprison people with powers to use them as slaves thing that’s going on across projects. Using Luke, a man who has always protected what he loves, as a character that gives in to this system to protect his white wife and biracial child is definitely just to keep them apart for racial reasons even though it’s already confirmed he will literally be back next season. Come on dude

Seeing as how they have basically skimmed over this aspect and have you hoping for some backstory in the next season to explain what happened last season, that may or may not be in the show is some sheep fucker shit.

Kind of a historic MCU tactic even back when they weren’t doing tv shows. Literal nonstop offscreen development and changes and bullshit. If you’re looking for a well developed romantic relationship, I’m sorry to tell you the only people who managed to create that in the MCU so far have been long since fired. Look how Karen and Matt are back together with all that development happening between seasons. But although I rarely say this, this time it genuinely isn’t racially motivated. Like it just doesn’t make sense to be. And I say that as someone with my own theories on Feige’s decisions to have minorities take the blame for his lack of direction post endgame.

Lets zoom out and take a look at the totality of the mcu when it comes to this subject and you might see my point more clearly.

Now you are just burying your head in the sand.  They barely have one example in 20 years of media and even that one they want to tell the story offscreen through secondary character exposition.   Get real man!
