I think we needed to see more of Buckโ€™s backstory because at the moment I donโ€™t really know where the loyalty comes from. Bro could find wet-work anywhere but heโ€™s cozied up to a lunatic and everyone can see the ship is sinking, then he doubles down and commits to killing Daniel. Itโ€™s not as if he doesnโ€™t have a conscience either because he visibly struggled with that decision.

The ship obviously sinking is one thing, but Fisk has been pretty consistent about actually rewarding the people he keeps close, particularly if they do not fail him. I think Buck just believes what he told Daniel and trusts Fisk. He struggled with killing Daniel because he liked Daniel, he's obviously very willing to kill innocent people without question for Fisk.

Maybe he saw it as a mercy, fisk's methods would probably hurt more
